摘要： Techniques for unifying split bearers at user equipment (UE) in an Evolved-Universal Terrestrial Radio Access-New Radio (E-ULTRA NR) dual connectivity (EN-DC) environment are described. According to various such techniques, a radio resource control (RRC) message can include an encapsulated configuration for a secondary cell group (SCG). Packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) configurations for MN or SN split bearers can be included in the master cell group (MCG) configuration in the RRC message or in the encapsulated SCG configuration. In some examples, an RRC message can include an encapsulated SCG configuration and an encapsulated PDCP configuration, where the encapsulated PDCP configuration including PDCP configuration information for the MN or SN split bearer. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要： Embodiments of PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol), RLC (Radio Link Control) handling in DC (Dual Connectivity) split bearer are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a UE (user equipment) decodes a configuration, provided via RRC (radio resource control) signals, for identifying a RLC-Rx (radio link control receive) link source of packets. The UE decodes a packet at a first RLC-Rx link. The UE decodes a packet at a second RLC-Rx link. The UE distinguishes, in a PDCP (packet data convergence protocol) entity, the packet decoded at the first RLC-Rx link from the packet decoded at the second RLC-Rx link, based on the configuration and SNs (sequence numbers) of the packets. The UE decodes a distinct packet in the PDCP entity.

In some embodiments, a UE is configured to be served by multiple serving cells. In these embodiments, DRX operations may be performed independently in multiple serving cells belonging to the different eNBs. Other embodiments for enhanced DRX operations are also described.

摘要： An apparatus and method for using a radio frequency (RF chain) in a dual-network architecture are disclosed herein. An evolved node B (eNodeB) receives RF chain sharing information from user equipment (UE) associated with the eNodeB. The RF chain sharing information comprises indication of a non-usable frequency band or indication of which frequency band is supported for each of a first network and a second network that an RF chain is switchable between. The RF chain is included in the UE and at least a frequency band is shared between the first and second networks. The eNodeB transmits radio resource control (RRC) connection reconfiguration signaling to the UE to release a secondary cell (SCell) or perform inter-frequency handover of a primary cell (PCell) in response to the RF chain sharing information.

The SRS PHR is associated with the PHR medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) and power control adjustment state for multi-TRP operation-enabled UEs. In addition, computation of an instant PHR and a future PHR when multiple cell groups are used is described. 摘要： Systems and methods of reducing control plane latency in a 5G IAB network are described. SRs transmitted between nodes indicate that a control plane PDU is to be transmitted. The SRs use periodic resources or OCCs reserved for control plane signaling and are initiated by an RRC message or RACH from the UE. The SRs are initiated if the LCID field in the MAC subheader of the RRC message indicates the CCCH or the DCCH logical channel. If the PDU is available after the original resource, a resource is used that is provided via another grant, which is periodically provided or automatically initiated due to failure to transmit on the original grant. The SR or RRC message can also specify a delayed timeslot for the grant. For contention-based procedures the RACH preamble is randomly selected or selected from among a set of RACH preambles assigned for RRC procedures.
