摘要： The aim of the invention is to improve a mobile floor-cleaning machine with integral clean-fluid and dirty-fluid compartments separated from each other by a partition, with a cleaning rotor supplied with clean fluid from the clean-fluid compartment and with at least one suction nozzle which conveys dirty fluid into the dirty-fluid compartment, the partition having a pressure-equalization aperture and a fluid-passage aperture. The improvement consists in the fact that the machine can be operated either in a recycling mode in which the dirty fluid is re-used as cleaning fluid or in the normal mode in which the dirty fluid is not re-used. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the pressure-equlization aperture (16) and the fluid-passage aperture (15) are each fitted with an openable closure (18, 17) and that the suction pipe (14) in the dirty-fluid compartment (7) is fitted with a detachable filter-bag (19) or similar device.

摘要： The method described enables carpets to be cleaned with a mobile floor cleaner with a rotating disc (19) fitted with bristles, a cleaning-agent reservoir (13) and a feed line (12) leading from the reservoir (13) to the disc (19), and with a textile pad (21) fitted to the bristle-carrying disc (19). While the machine is moved over the carpet, cleaning fluid is metered from the reservoir (13) on to a rotating centrifugal plate (20) located underneath the bristle-carrying disc (19), cleaning fluid being centrifuged from the rotating plate on to the textile pad (21) fitted to the bristle-carrying disc (19). Carpets cleaned by this method exhibit a high and uniform degree of clean ness, together with a low tendency to become soiled again. The carpet is only slightly wetted and can therefore be walked on again after only a short time. The method is inexpensive and easy to carry out, and is intended for use in the industrial cleaning of carpets.

The press consists of a housing with two sidewalls (4) and a press basket (2) located therebetween which receives the textiles to be wrung. A movement mechanism propels pressure pieces (5) into the press basket (2), which then contact the textiles and squeeze them out. The movement mechanism for transferring the power of the drive movement from a drive lever (13) to the pressure pieces (5) operates via cam plates (14) with bridging members (6) adjacent to the two pressure pieces said members being operated by the control cams of said curved plates. This eccentric transfer of force ensures that considerable force is conveyed, while causing minimal wear. In addition, it simplifies the design of the movement mechanism.

The apparatus contains a detection device which detects the amount of paste according to conductimetry. The shut-off device is a dual piston valve (5, 6) closing an opening between the paste supply tube (7) and an injector suction chamber (4) as well as an opening between the solvent supply tube (8) and an injector pre-chamber (3). The invention also relates to a method for dosing pastelike substances and the mixtures thereof with a solvent by means of such a device. By opening a shut-off device (9) in a supply tube (8) for a pressurized solvent, a dual piston valve (5, 6) moves against an opposing force. This releases a connection between a paste supply tube (7) and an injection suction chamber (4), followed by a connection between the solvent supply tube (8) and the injector pre-chamber (3). The paste is suctioned by an injector (2) operating according to the hydraulic pump principle and mixed with release solvent. The mixture is injected into a measuring section (13) wherein a conductimetry device measures the amount of paste dissolved in the mixture. The shut-off device (9) is closed when the required dose of paste is obtained, whereupon the circuit which was previously in open position is shifted in reverse order to closed position.
