    • The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method for a base station transmitting a control signal to a user equipment in a multiple-antenna wireless communication system and an apparatus for same. According to one embodiment of present invention, the method for the base station transmitting the control signal to the user equipment in a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) wireless communication system comprises the following steps: forming a resource element group (REG) in four consecutive resource element units in the ascending order of a sub-carrier index, excluding resource elements (RE) for channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS); allocating a transmission resource to the control signal in the resource element group units; and transmitting the control signal, to which the transmission resource is allocated, to the user equipment, wherein the channel state information reference signal can be defined via eight logical antenna ports.
