    • The inventive reactor for producing carbon black comprises a multichannel-mixing nozzle made of a refractory material having high thermoconductivity and specific heat. The carbon black having a mean diameter of aggregates equal or less than 0.18 mkm with a dispersion equal or less than 0.0078 mkm and an open area equal or less than 5.67 mkm with a dispersion equal or less than 392 mkm is produced by uniformly distributing a temperature field in the cross section of the multichannel mixing nozzle therealong, creating similar conditions for the carbon black formation in each channel of the nozzle (a speed stream ranging from 250 to 300 m/sec and the differential pressure at input and output ranging from 0.02 to 0.04 MPa) and cooling a carbon black-gas mixture at a distance equal or less than 2-5 diameters of the channel. The high stability of dimensions of aggregates makes it possible to produce vulcanisates having high physical and mechanical properties.

    • The present invention relates to a method and a device for producing carbon black (fine-dispersion industrial-grade carbon black) used in various technical branches, such as the production of elastomer sealing devices, rubber articles or dyes. The method involves submitting the carbon-containing raw material to a pyrolysis process, cooling down the gas and carbon-black mixture using the cooled portion of said mixture as a cooling agent and separating the finished product. The gas and carbon black mixture for cooling is sampled at the outlet of the cooling area and, once cooled, is supplied in a counter-flow direction at a certain angle relative to the main flow. The device comprises a reactor, a heat exchanger for cooling carbon-gaseous products going out of the reactor and a unit for increasing the pressure thereof. The mechanism for supplying the cooling agent is embodied in the form of hollow deflectors provided with holes on the side surfaces and arranged in the section of a cooling area.

    • The present invention relates to a reactor for producing carbon black in which the particles have a size of between 110 and 600 ANGSTROM . This reactor comprises the following members connected in series: a combustion chamber with systems for burning the fuel together with air; a multiple-channel mixing nozzle having a flow section with a global surface area of between 0.036 and 0.36 m as the ratio between a channel diameter (dc) and the diameter at the global surface area of the flow section in said mixing nozzle (def) ranges from 0.35 to 0.72, said nozzle being provided with raw-material injectors; and a reaction chamber comprising systems for cooling down the gaseous carbon-black-containing products. This reactor has a large unitary rate (up to 5000 kg/h of raw material) and is capable of producing carbon-black at a particle coalescence rate in the apparatus that ranges from 0.03 to 0.09. The use of the carbon black thus obtained in vulcanised rubber mixtures increases the physical and mechanical indices.
