    • An image organizing system for organizing and retrieving images from an image repository residing on a mobile device is disclosed. The image organizing system includes a mobile computing device including an image repository. The mobile computing device is adapted to produce a small-scale model from an image in the image repository including an indicia of the image from which the small-scale model was produced. In one embodiment the small-scale model is then transmitted from the mobile computing device to a cloud computing platform including recognition software that produces a list of tags describing the image, which are then transmitted back to the mobile computing device. The tags then form an organization system. Alternatively, the image recognition software can reside on the mobile computing device, so that no cloud computing platform is required.

    • A machine may be configured to perform image evaluation of images depicting items for sale and to provide recommendations for improving the images depicting the items to increase the sales of the items depicted in the images. For example, the machine accesses a result of a user behavior analysis. The machine receives an image of an item from a user device. The machine performs an image evaluation of the received image based on an analysis of the received image and the result of the user behavior analysis. The performing of the image evaluation may include determining a likelihood of a user engaging in a desired user behavior in relation to the received image. Then, the machine generates, based on the evaluation of the received image, an output that references the received image and indicates the likelihood of a user engaging in the desired behavior.

    • Technologies for automated cropping and sharing of images include an imaging device configured to capture a digital image, recognize one or more subjects represented in the image, determine the social network groups associated with the subjects of the digital image, and crop the digital image to generate one or more sub-images. Each of the sub-images includes subjects associated with a particular social network group. Each of the sub-images may be shared with the relevant social network group. Subjects may include persons, objects, or events, and may be recognized through computer vision techniques as well as using contextual data. The imaging device may receive social network data from one or more social network servers, which may be used to determine the relevant social network groups. The imaging device may also exclude subjects from the cropped sub-images based on one or more content policies. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
