摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) for Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) using carrier aggregation is disclosed. Methods for UCI transmission in the uplink control channel, uplink shared channel or uplink data channel are disclosed. The methods include transmitting channel quality indicators (CQI), precoding matrix indicators (PMI), rank indicators (RI), hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement/non-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK), channel status reports (CQI/PMI/RI), source routing (SR) and sounding reference signals (SRS). In addition, methods for providing flexible configuration in signaling UCI, efficient resource utilization, and support for high volume UCI overhead in LTE-A are disclosed.

摘要： A method and apparatus for using demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) based channel state information (CSI) feedback in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing - multiple-input multiple-output (OFDM-MIMO) systems is disclosed. The wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receives one or more resource blocks from a base station, wherein the resource blocks (RBs) include demodulating reference signals (DM-RS) and precoder information. The precoder information is sent unicast or broadcasted over a common control channel. The WTRU estimates an effective channel estimate based on the DM-RS, derives an unprecoded channel based on the effective channel and the precoder information, generates CSI feedback based on the unprecoded channel, and transmits the CSI feedback to the base station. Alternatively, the WTRU estimates an effective channel estimate based on the DM-RS, quantizes the effective channel estimate and transmits the CSI feedback to the base station.

摘要： Methods are presented wherein a WTRU may determine, based on measurements, that it is a victim of interference from another cell such a closed subscriber group (CSG) cell. In addition, methods are presented for the UE to inform the CSG cell that UE is present and is a victim UE. Methods for informing the CSG cell may include the grant of temporary membership to a victim UE, the use of a connected WTRU as a relay, and/or indicating victim status in a control message. The indication may trigger an interference management procedure. Methods for the WTRU to stop interference management at the CSG cell, methods to allow the use of a training period by the CSG eNB to allow for non-CSG WTRUs to report their presence, and methods to indicate how to perform UE Victim Indication are also presented.

摘要： Embodiments contemplate a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) that may operate in a heterogeneous wireless communication network (HetNet). The WTRU may detect the presence of an extended physical downlink control channel (E-PDCCH) and may decode a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) upon detecting the E-PDCCH. The WTRU may obtain scheduling information of the E-PDCCH on a physical downlink shared control channel (PDSCH) from the decoded PDCCH. The WTRU may also determine control information for the WTRU from the E-PDCCH using the scheduling information of the E-PDCCH. The HetNet may further include a first eNB and a second eNB and the WTRU may receive the E-PDCCH from the first eNB and another E-PDCCH from the second eNB. The other E-PDCCH may be coordinated with the E-PDCCH such that the interference between the other E-PDCCH and the E-PDCCH from the perspective of the WTRU may be reduced relative to no coordination.

摘要： A method and apparatus are described for obtaining demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port index information. In one scenario, an evolved Node-B (eNodeB), having a plurality of antenna ports, disables a codeword in a downlink (DL) control indicator (DCI), uses an unused new data indicator (NDI) bit of the disabled codeword as a DMRS port index information field, and transmits the DCI. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) receives the DCI from the eNodeB and obtains a DMRS port index from the unused NDI bit of the disabled codeword in the received DCI. In another scenario, a DCI including a disabled codeword and a resource allocation header bit in a DMRS port index information field of the DCI is received by the WTRU. The WTRU re-interprets the resource allocation header bit in the DCI as a DMRS port index.

摘要： Urgent data is scheduled in a wireless communication system including at least one wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) and at least one Node-B. The WTRU includes a re-ordering release timer. The Node-B includes a buffer, a lifespan (or maximum allowed delay) timer and a high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) scheduler. The HSDPA scheduler determines whether there is at least one protocol data unit (PDU) in the buffer whose lifespan (maximum allowed delay) timer or re-ordering release timer will expire if the PDU is not transmitted in a next N transmission timing interval (TTI), where N is a design parameter. If so, the PDU is treated as urgent data whereby a sequence of WTRUs , (i.e., users), scheduled to receive urgent data is arranged in an order of decreasing priority, and a more conservative modulation and coding scheme (MCS), multiple code transmission and a different redundancy reversion are considered for use.

摘要： A wireless communication method and apparatus for transferring buffered enhanced uplink (EU) data from a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), i.e., a mobile station, to a Node-B. The EU data is generated and stored in a buffer of the WTRU. The WTRU transmits a message to the Node-B including a request for a desired transport format combination (TFC) or data traffic indicator. The Node-B schedules one or more allowed EU data transmissions between the WTRU and the Node-B by transmitting an EU data scheduling message to the WTRU. The WTRU transmits all of the EU data stored in the buffer to the Node-B if the allowed EU data transmissions are sufficient to support transmission of all of the EU data stored in the buffer. Otherwise, the WTRU transmits a portion of the EU data along with the desired TFC or detailed traffic volume measurement (TVM) information to the Node-B.
