    • In embodiments of the present disclosure improved capabilities are described for increasing the bandwidth in a wireless communication network, such as where local optimization servers and centralized optimization servers are connected to a communication network, and an application provides application services to a plurality of mobile devices. A transfer of application services to the local optimization servers from the central optimization server enables data packets to be conveyed without traversing the communication network to the centralized optimization server. Additionally, publish-subscribe broker services may be utilized in conjunction with a queuing service application that provides packet service continuity when a mobile device moves between different access nodes of the same or a different wireless communication network, and wherein the queuing service application is connected to a publish/subscribe broker network to receive application data packets matching the data packets directed to the mobile device, wherein the queuing service application makes the matching service packets available to the mobile device to replace service packets that the mobile device did not receive during a time in which the mobile device is in transition between being connected to any of the access nodes.

    • The present invention relates to a method in a node, eNB, of a cellular network for supporting mobility, to a method in a user equipment for supporting mobility to in the cellular network, and to corresponding devices, namely user equipment and node. According to one aspect, a method for supporting mobility in a cellular network is provided. The method runs in a node, eNB, for the cellular network. According to the method, the node receives from a user equipment, an information of a radio link failure of a radio link between the user equipment and the cellular network and the node receives information related to a mobility, e.g. expiry of T312 timer, of the user equipment. Based on the received information, the node adjusts at least one mobility parameter to increase robustness of mobility. The present invention improves robustness of mobility functions in a cellular network.

    • Methods for facilitating Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection reestablishment between a communication device and a target communication node in a wireless communication network and the respective device and node are disclosed.
