    • The present disclosure relates to a lockless buffer resource management scheme. In the proposed scheme, a buffer pool is configured to have an allocation list and a de-allocation list. The allocation list includes one or more buffer objects linked by a next pointer in a previous buffer object to a next buffer object, and a head pointer pointing to a buffer object at the head of the allocation list. The de-allocation list includes one or more buffer objects linked by a next pointer in a previous buffer object to a next buffer object, a head pointer pointing to a buffer object at the head of the de-allocation list, and a tail pointer pointing to a next pointer of a buffer object at the end of the de-allocation list, wherein the tail pointer is a pointer's pointer.

    • According to the disclosure, there provides a control channel element (CCE) allocation method, comprising steps of: deciding an aggregation level of each of scheduled entities according to channel quality indicator (CQI) fed back from each of the scheduled entities; sorting in a list all the scheduled entities based on priority; obtaining at least two (CCE) allocation patterns each with preoccupation of (CCE) candidates by the scheduled entities by use of retrospective mechanism; selecting a (CCE) allocation pattern with maximum number of scheduled entities having preoccupied (CCE) candidates from the obtained at least two (CCE) allocation patterns; allocating (CCEs) to the scheduled entities based on the selected (CCE) allocation pattern.

    • The present disclosure provides a method and system for handover notification between a source and a target node in a wireless communication network to facilitate a handover procedure for a User Equipment (UE). According to a broad aspect, the source node (112) monitors for a random access detect message from the target node (114) indicating that the UE initiated a random access procedure with the target node. When a random access detect message is received (136), the source node (112) can assume the UE has left the source cell and in response, take certain actions, e.g. terminate UE scheduling, initiate data forwarding toward the target node) to make the handover procedure more efficient.

    • One embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a method for uplink SPS release. The method for operating a network node device comprises: determining whether or not there is a dynamically scheduled uplink transmission for a communication device in an uplink sub-frame where the communication device needs to perform an uplink SPS release; sending to the communication device, in response to determining that there is a dynamically scheduled uplink transmission for the communication device in the uplink sub-frame where the communication device needs to perform an uplink SPS release, a dynamic scheduling DCI message for the dynamically scheduled uplink transmission. At least one field of the dynamic scheduling DCI message is configured in a manner that the dynamic scheduling DCI implicitly indicates the uplink SPS release. The method further comprises sending to the communication device, in response to determining that there is no dynamically scheduled uplink transmission for the communication device in the uplink sub-frame where the communication device needs to perform an uplink SPS release, an uplink SPS release DCI message to explicitly indicate the uplink SPS release. According to an aspect of the present disclosure, there are provided corresponding methods and devices.

    • The present disclosure relates to a method used in a BS for transmitting control information to a UE, and an associated BS. The method includes: generating a first indication indicating whether data, which are downlink data transmitted from the BS to the UE or uplink data transmitted from the UE to the BS, are in an initial transmission or a retransmission, the first indication being comprised in the control information; if the data are in the initial transmission, generating a second indication for determining modulation mode and Transport Block, TB, size of the data, the second indication being comprised in the control information; and transmitting the control information to the U E.
