    • A rotating power receptacle (100) for an electronic device (102) is provided. The power receptacle includes a socket (116), coupled to a circuit board (103), and providing power to an electronic device. The power receptacle also includes a post connector (118) that is in rotating contact with the socket. The power receptacle further includes a flexible ground spring (120, 122), coupled to the circuit board; the flexible ground spring extending adjacent to the post connector and providing a ground connection for the electronic device. The power receptacle also includes a rotating member (124) that is positioned in an opening in a housing (104) of the electronic device. The rotating member has an opening (126) through which a power supply connector (109) is enabled to connect to the post connector and the flexible ground spring to provide a rotating power connection for the electronic device.

    • The invention concerns a flat block of components and an apparatus, as well as a connection system for connecting at least one contact of at least one flat block of components to an apparatus. One conductive connecting element is connected in electroconductive manner to said contact. A clamping device is connected in electroconductive manner to the apparatus. Therefor, the clamping device is designed to produce an electroconductive connection, between the apparatus and the contact of the flat block of components, via the connecting element. The invention is characterized in that this problem is solved by the fact that the connection element connected to the contact is in the form of a more rigid conductor and that the connection element penetrates directly the clamping device element of the apparatus and is thereby directly connected to the clamping device.

    • A low profile, low inductance in-line connector for providing power from a first circuit board to a second circuit board is described. The connector includes a base section that includes a housing having an interior cavity, and first and second contacts spaced apart from each other with a first insulating member positioned in a space between the contacts. The contacts each have a linear array of a plurality of mating fingers spaced apart along their lengths. The contacts are positioned in the housing such that they are essentially parallel to each other and the mating fingers of the first contact are interdigitated with the mating fingers of the second contact. The connector also includes a mating section that includes a plurality of mating contacts spaced apart from each other along a length of the mating section. The mating section fits into the interior cavity of the housing of the base section such that the mating contacts are aligned with and connect to the mating fingers of the contacts.
