Disclosed embodiments also provide a method of modifying a mud skip that includes coupling at least one arm to a lid of the mud skip configured to store and transport drilling waste, wherein the at least one ami comprises a counterweight.

Complementary notches (76, 78) in the door panels provide an opening through which equipment tubing or wiring may extend when the door panels are closed.
