摘要： Disclosed are a method and apparatus for video encoding/decoding of encoding/decoding block filter information based on a quadtree. The video encoding/decoding apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a video encoder which segments a predicted reference video using optimum filters for each block into blocks by a layer of at least one stage, sets a segmentation flag for determining whether or not the segmented blocks are capable of being segmented again and a filter type for determining which filters are used for interpolating the blocks, and encodes the segmentation flag and the filter type into a quadtree; and a video decoder which reads the segmentation flag and the filter type from the bit stream encoded into the quadtree to restore the segmentation flag and the filter type, generates segmented blocks on the basis of the segmentation flag, and interpolates the generated blocks on the basis of the filter type to restore the reference video for optimum motion compensation.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the image coding/decoding device comprises: an image coder which divides a coding unit (CU) into a combination of sub blocks of codable size, determines a combination of an inter block and an intra block for the respective sub blocks, determines a coding order of intra coding blocks inside the coding unit (CU) by considering a case when peripheral pixel values of a current block which is to be intra-prediction coded can be referred to, performs a bidirectional intra prediction coding for the current block according to the determined coding order, and locates size information and coding mode information for the sub blocks in front of the syntax of the coding unit (CU) to transmit the information; and an image decoder which decodes coding data to restore the size information and the coding mode information of the sub blocks within the coding unit (CU), restores an inter prediction coding block on the basis of the restored coding mode information, and determines a coding order of intra prediction mode blocks according to the size information, the decoding mode information of each sub block within the coding unit (CU), and available reference conditions of peripheral blocks of the coding unit (CU).

摘要： In one embodiment, the present invention relates to an image encoding/decoding method and device. One embodiment of the present invention provides a method and device for image encoding which entail: encoding skip information showing whether a block to be subjected to image encoding is a skip block; either encoding split information for the block and skip movement information for the block, or encoding prediction information for the block comprising intra-prediction mode or movement information and split information for the block, depending on the skip information; and encoding residual signal information for the block, based on the prediction information and the conversion information, and provides a method and device for restoring the encoded signal. This embodiment of the present invention can improve image compression efficiency by being devised to allow efficient encoding of the encoding information which is used when encoding images, and allows the encoding of images through the selective use of diverse encoding formats and decoding formats.
