摘要： Techniques are discussed herein identify transmission strategies and to communicate those identified transmission strategies in a transparent communication environment. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may identify a new transmission strategy for a downlink channel different from a current transmission strategy for the down link channel. The UE may transmit a channel state information (CSI) message that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the UE. In some examples, a base station may identify the new transmission strategy for the downlink channel. The base station may transmit a codebook subset restriction (CSR) indicator that includes an indication of the new transmission strategy identified by the base station. In some examples, the UE may modify its feedback strategy based 0n the new transmission strategy.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for enforcing codebook properties (e.g., constant modulus and/or finite alphabet) in adaptive and dual-stage codebooks are described. One example method generally includes receiving multiple feedback aspects of a channel for wireless communications determining multiple codewords based on the multiple feedback aspects, determining a final precoding matrix based on the multiple codewords, enforcing at least one codebook property in at least one of the multiple codewords or the final precoding matrix, applying the final precoding matrix to a plurality of spatial streams to form precoded spatial streams, and transmitting the precoded spatial streams. For certain aspects, enforcing the at least one codebook property includes quantizing elements in each of the multiple codewords and/or the final precoding matrix to the nearest value in a finite alphabet or to increase a performance metric.

摘要： Methods and apparatus for performing radio resource management (RRM) measurements in a heterogeneous network (HetNet) are provided in an effort to prevent failure of RRM measurement procedures in a dominant interference scenario. Several alternatives are provided for determining particular resources (e.g., subframes) to use for performing the RRM measurements, wherein the particular resources are based on cooperative resource partitioning between cells of the HetNet, wherein the cells may be of different types (e.g., macro, pico, or femto cells). These alternatives include, for example: (1) intra-frequency or intra-RAT (radio access technology) alternatives, which may involve transmitting resource partitioning information (RPI) in or deriving non-serving cell RPI based on the serving cell's RPI, as well as (2) inter-frequency or inter-RAT alternatives, where the RRM measurements may be performed during a measurement gap.

摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications system, a base station may schedule multiple user equipment (UEs) for unicast transmissions using a single downlink control information (DCI) format. For example, a first UE may receive, from a base station, DCI that includes unicast scheduling information for multiple UEs including the first UE. The first UE may determine, from the unicast scheduling information, a set of resources on which to communicate data with the base station. In such cases, the UE may transmit or receive data transmissions using the determined set of resources. In some examples, each UE of the multiple UEs may determine respective sets of resources based on one or more UE-specific transformation rules applied to common scheduling parameters of the DCI.
