摘要： The present invention relates to a production line for manufacturing absorbent disposable articles, such as diapers, sanitary napkins and incontinence guards, wherein the production line includes a conveyor path (3, 14, 15) which functions to move a web of material through the production line, and a row of devices (1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13) which are arranged sequentially in the movement direction of the conveyor path and which function to perform different working operations in the manufacture of the absorbent article, wherein the devices are carried by rectangular carrier plates (29, 34, 35, 39, 47) which are attached to vertical posts (17) which, in a framework (16), are placed on the same side of the conveyor path and sequentially in a direction parallel with the movement direction of the conveyor path. According to the invention, the framework includes a plurality of mutually sequential connectors (27, 28) which connect to flowing-media delivery lines, such as electric current and compressed air.

摘要： A method for producing an absorbent structure intended for use in an absorbent article, such as a sanitary napkin, incontinence guard, diaper, wherein the absorbent structure in produced by laying a layer of essentially superabsorbent material between two layers of defibered and moisturized cellulose pulp or tissue, whereafter the composite structure is calendared between one or more pairs of heated rolls, wherewith the layer of superabsorbent material binds in itself and forms a stable layer, which binds to the surrounding cellulose pulp layers or tissue layers. The absorbent structure exhibits excellent absorption properties and can be made very thin. The structure can be manufactured without superabsorbent material being spread around the manufacturing machine during the production process, or escaping from the finished absorbent article when packaging, transporting or using the article.

According to the invention, at least one folded band (13) of flexible material is placed between each pair of front and rear side parts (19, 21 and 20, 22 respectively) which lie opposite one another in the folded state of the blank, and the free ends of the bands are fastened to adjacent side parts. The invention also relates to an article manufactured in accordance with the method.

摘要： The present invention relates to an absorbent article, such as a diaper or an incontinence guard, including a front part (13) and a rear part (14) and a crotch part (15) lying therebetween. The article also includes an absorbent body (1) which is enclosed between an outer, liquid-impermeable casing sheet (7) and an inner, liquid-permeable casing sheet (8) which, when the article is worn, lies proximal to the wearer's body.
