摘要： Container (10) for storing a plurality of re-useable shopping bags (36), including a hollow rectangular plastic body having sidewalls (12), and front and rear faces (14, 16), The front face (14) of the container has an opening (18) and a pair of strengthening ribs (20) therein, and wherein the rear face (16) of the container has an integrally moulded carry pocket (22). The pocket (22) is sized to hold therein a small ring bound notebook (24) and a writing pencil (26) to assist shoppers. The container can have a carrying lanyard (34) and an aperture (28) on the rear face to hang it on a hook. The container enables the user to effectively control the amount of bags they wish to take from storage in that when the first bag is pulled out, the coupled bags follow in the same path, one after the other.

摘要： A series of roll (65) mounted bags (15) and dispensers (85) are described. The bags (15) may be folded along at least one axis and rolled. The compact roll (65) of bags (15) is placed in various dispensers (85). As the upper portion of the first bag is pulled from the roll (65), the roll (65) will rotate, presenting the succeeding bag for dispensing after the first bag is removed. Variations of the dispenser (85) include one with a bag opening means with a mounting member and bag opening element causing the bags to open as they are pulled from the dispenser (85). The dispenser (85) includes mechanisms for supporting the bag roll (90) and constraining its movement along its horizontal axis (105). Another variation of the dispenser has a perforation parting means (110) that facilitates separation of one bag from a subsequent bag. The dispenser (85) may be removably attached to a dispenser support (1235) that attaches to a surface.

摘要： A method and device for suspending flat, flexible objects (3) for display and distribution purposes, whereby said objects, especially plastic sheets or bags (3), have the same length and are placed in a pile. The two edges (5,6) of each object differing in size from said length are placed in a flat position in the pile and are brought into line with the corresponding edges of the other objects. One of the ends (6B) of each object is grasped in order to remove said objects one by one. The other end (5b) is used to suspend the object, wherein the suspending ends are held in such a way that the edges thereof (5) are brought substantially in line with each other on a plane (5A). The edges which are to be grasped (6) are left hanging. The pile is then subjected to at least one change of direction, between the edges which are to be grasped and the edges which are used for suspension purposes, whereby the edge of the object which is to be grasped protrudes from one surface (12) of the pile in relation to the next end in the pile which is to be grasped and so on. The surface (2) with the outermost protruding edge to be grasped becomes the first object to be grasped.

摘要： A dispenser is disclosed for retaining and dispensing plastic bags which are wound on a core (52). The dispenser is made of heavy metal wire (10) configured to provide curved tracks in which a core can ride. The dispenser includes a separating tongue (22) which enables a customer to dispense the bags one by one by pulling on the free end of the outermost bag. In order to prevent freewheeling, a braking surface (28a) is provided which engages the roll (50) and retards rotation. A supplemental braking force is provided by spring elements (30, 32) mounted within the tracks (14, 15) which apply a frictional force to the ends of core (52). The spring elements (30, 32) are oriented such that the force applied to the core (52) by the springs (30, 32) rotates when the bags are dispensed, causes the roll (50) to tend to move downwardly into engagement with the braking surface (28a). The spring elements (30, 32) are attached to the dispenser at a point below the braking surface (28a). As a result, the braking force applied by the springs (30, 32) increases as the size of the roll (50) decreases.
