    • A multi-stage toilet flush valve includes an mner valve and an outer valve that circumscribes the inner valve. The inner and outer valve control the flow of flushwater through associated inner and outer outlets. Thus, when the flush valve is actuated, the inner and outer valves are actuated at separate times, while the inner valve delivers flushwater to a rim of the toilet, while the outer valve delivers flushwater to a jet feed outlet in the toilet. As such the multi-stage toilet valve provides two independent inner and outer flushwater delivery outlets that are controlled by associated inner and outer valves that are capable of being actuated at separate times to control the ratio of flushwater delivered to a toilet rim and to a toilet jet feed outlet to enhance the effectiveness in which the toilet bowl is cleaned.

    • A control stop for a flush valve for a urinal or toilet fixture includes a housing defining a flow chamber divided by a valve seat into inlet and outlet sections. A valve structure is biased toward the valve seat by a spring applying a valve closing spring force. The housing is sealed by a diaphragm, and the diaphragm covers the movable valve structure, isolating it from water flowing through the housing. The diaphragm does not impede valve structure movement, and the closing spring force establishes a threshold water supply pressure for opening the control stop during increasing pressure following a no or low supply pressure condition. A plurality of control stops may supply a bank of flush valves and fixtures, and open in a cascading sequence during increasing pressure as a result of having springs with different closing spring forces.

    • A rinse fluid valve (72) for use in a vacuum toilet system is disclosed. The vacuum toilet system includes a waste receptacle (36) with a rinse fluid dispenser associated therewith and a source of rinse fluid. The rinse fluid valve (72) has a housing with an inlet in fluid communication with the rinse fluid source (15) and an outlet in fluid communication with the rinse fluid dispenser. A flow path extends from the inlet to the outlet. A moveable rinse fluid valve member (110) is disposed in the flow path and movable between open and closed positions. A fuse valve (120) is disposed in the flow path upstream of the rinse fluid valve and has a normally open position to allow fluid flow therethrough. The fuse valve is actuatable to a closed position after a desired volume of fluid has passed therethrough, thereby to cease rinse fluid flow through the flow path.
