摘要： An easy open and reclosable bag (10) has flexible sheet walls sealed together to form a pouch. A separable reclosure tie (32) is located adjacent one of those seals (16, 18). The reclosure tie is composed of extensions of the bag walls which have an integral channel-shaped molding (36) spaced from that seal. A line (38) of specially shaped, closely spaced apart perforations through the bag walls extends between the molding and the one seal to permit the reclosure tie to be separated from the pouch-defining walls of the bag. Apparatus for making the easy open and reclosable bag is also disclosed.

摘要： A resealable and tamper resistant bag includes a front wall having a first resealable feature, and a back wall having a second resealable feature adapted to form a seal with the first resealable feature. The front and back walls are sealingly connected along at least a pair of sides to define at least part of a holding portion of the bag. A sealed tamper resistant strip portion is formed integrally with the holding portion and is disposed adjacent the first and second resealable features. At least one seam is disposed between the holding portion and the strip portion for allowing the strip portion to be selectively removed, at least in part, from the holding portion by a user. At least one tab is defined by the seam to facilitate the user moving the first and second resealable features from a sealed position to an unsealed position.

The apparatus is referred to as a transforming or bag opening machine and includes a separation station and may include a perforation station and a piercing station. The perforation station forms a plurality of end perforations in the multiple layers of a strip of sealed bag precursors. The separation station separates the plurality of end perforations in at least one film layer of the trip to form a plurality of bag openings. The plurality of end perforation are torn by the separation station, which includes manipulating the rotation of a main roller, a pressure roller and at least one separation roller.
