    • The silencer comprises a tubular envelope (7) supported by an end-piece (10) for fixture to a gas supply source in which the pressure is to be reduced. A perforated plate (8) and a disc (9) close off the ends of the envelope which is drilled with escape apertures (13, 13', 13''...) in the region of the disc (9).
