摘要： A system and method of occluding a reproductive body lumen to prevent the passage of reproductive cells through body lumen is disclosed. The system can include a catheter delivery system having a handle device, a catheter operatively coupled with the handle device, and an occluding device adapted for deployment within the body lumen. The handle device can include a damper device adapted to reduce the vibration on the handle device from deployment of the occluding device from the catheter. Further, the handle device can include an indexing member operatively coupled with the catheter to provide indexing of the catheter.

The fixation systems include fixation connectors (125, 225, 325, 425, 525, 625, 725, 825) that preferably are equipped with bone anchors (123, 223, 323, 523, 623, 823) (e.g., screws, hooks, pins or like structures) for securing the fixation connectors to bones desired to be stabilized. The fixation systems also include linking elements (127) (e.g., rods, plates or other members) for linking the fixation connectors together to form a stabilizing construct capable of maintaining a desired spacial relationship between bones desired to be stabilized. The fixation of the linking elements can be made provisionally through tabs (109, 209, 409, 509), plugs (1002, 30') or sleeves (837) and finally through lateral fasteners (501, 503, 601, 603) or sleevers (702, 802, 902', 1102).

The implant includes a locking arrangement (50) having a first interlocking teeth structure (56) formed on the external member and a second interlocking teeth structure (58) formed on the internal member. The interlocking teeth structures of the external and internal members have engagement surfaces (76, 86) arranged in a non-perpendicular orientation relative to the direction of implant expansion. The locking arrangement is configured such that walls of the internal member are pulled or flexed toward the walls of the external member when compressive forces are applied to the implant.
