摘要： The invention concerns agglomerated particles of finely divided polymers which are water-soluble or capable of swelling in water and contain ammonium carboxlyate groups, and a process for their preparation by azeotropic dehydration of water-in-oil emulsions of the polymers, which are water-soluble or capable of swelling in water and contain ammonium carboxylate groups, in the presence of 0.1 to 40 wt %, relative to the polymers, of polyalkylene glycols, which have an agglomerating effect and are obtained by the addition of C2 to C4 alkylene oxides to alcohols, phenols, amines or carboxylic acids and which contain at least two alkylene oxide units incorporated by polymerization, and additionally from 0.1 to 20 wt %, relative to the polymers, of protective colloids which are obtained by radical copolymerization of C8 to C40 mono-olefins with monoethylenically unsaturated C4 to C6 dicarboxylic acid anhydrides in the manner of a substance polymerization at temperatures from 80 to 300 DEG C to form copolymers having molar masses of 500 to 20,000 g/mol. The invention further concerns the use of the agglomerated polymer particles as thickeners for textile pigment printing inks.

摘要： A process for the production of stable water-in-oil emulsions of hydrolysed polymers of n-vinyl amide of formula (I) in which R, R = H or C1-C6 alkyl, by the polymerisation of compounds of formula (I) alone or mixed with other ethylenically unsaturated monomers in the presence of polymerisation initiators and emulsifiers in the form of water-in-oil emulsions to form water-in-oil polymer emulsions followed by the hydrolysis of the polymers in the form of the water-in-oil polymer emulsions in the presence of acids or bases and 1 to 30 wt % in relation to the polymers of emulsifiers, in which the emulsifiers used are mixtures of (a) 5 to 95 wt % of a block or graft copolymer of the structure (A-B)m, (A)nB or (B)nA in which A is a hydrophobic homo or copolymer with a degree of polymerisation of at least 3, B is a hydrophilic homo or copolymer with a degree of polymerisation of at least 3, m >/= 1 and n >/= 2, and (b) 5 to 95 wt % of another water-in-oil emulsifier with a molar mass of under 1000 g/mol. The polymer emulsions thus obtained may be used as retention and flocculation agents in paper production, to purify waste water and sludges in purification plants, as a dispersant and protective colloid for drilling muds and as a cement additive.

摘要： Graft polymers are obtained by radically initiated polymerisation of (A) monomers or monomer mixtures of (a) 10 to 100 % by weight N-vinyl carboxylic acid amides having the formula (I), in which R stands for R and C1-C6 alkyl, (b) 0 to 90 % by weight other monoethylenically unsaturated monomers that may be copolymerised with monomers (a), and (c) 0 to 5 % by weight of at least two ethylenically unsaturated monomers that contain non-conjugated double bonds in their molecule, in the presence of (B) polymers that contain at least 3 units of a C2-C4 alkylene oxide and/or polytetrahydrofuranes, in a weight ratio (A):(B) equal to (95 to 10):(5 to 80). The group (IV) is then optionally separated from the polymerised monomer (a) of the graft polymer, forming at least units having the formula (1). Also disclosed are a process for preparing said graft polymers and their use as dry and wet strength-increasing agents, as fixatives for impurities and fillers, as retention and dewatering agents for paper-making, as promoters during paper, cardboard and paperboard diketen gluing, as pigment dispersants, as starch cationising agents and as auxiliary substances for producing paper tissues.

摘要： The invention relates to a process for preparing copolymers from vinyl esters and monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids by the radical copolymerisation of: (a) 20 to 80 mol % vinyl esters of aliphatic monocarboxylic acids having at least two carbon atoms, (b) 80 to 20 mol % monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and, optionally, (c) 0 to 30 mol % of other monoethylenically unsaturated monomers which can be copolymerised, and/or (d) 0 to 10 mol % monomers containing at least two ethylenically unsaturated non-conjugated double bonds in the molecule, in the presence of at least one sulphur, phosphorus and/or nitrogen compound having a reducing effect and of 0.05 to 30 wt %, relative to the monomers, of at least one surfactant in an aqueous medium and in the presence of initiators and, optionally, regulators. The invention further relates to the use of the copolymers or the copolymers comprising vinyl alcohol units obtained therefrom by hydrolysis and/or oxidation, as additives for washing and cleaning agents.
