摘要： The present invention relates to the promotion of a continuous chemical barrier of a soil-borne invertebrate pest control agent in soil in a locus where soil-borne invertebrate pests are suspected or known to exist. In particular the present invention relates to compositions of liquid soil-borne invertebrate pest control agents and selected adjuvants wherein the adjuvant improves the downward and lateral movement in the soil of the soil-borne invertebrate pest control agent contained in the liquid soil-borne invertebrate pest control agent. The invention set forth herein finds particular utility with soil-borne invertebrate pest control agents with a water solubility of 3 ppm, or less, such as bifenthrin.

摘要： Apparatus for producing carbonation flavoured drinks has a number of features. Water introduced to a water break from the mains supply holds a value open whilst the carbonation chamber is being filled. A concentrate supply includes a metering chamber into which concentrate flows under gravity and from which concentrate is discharged by gas pressure. The concentrate containers include means to indicate the type of concentrate therein and the degree of carbonation of water is controlled by detecting this indication. Change-over from one gas supply bottle to another is achieved utilising the pressure of the gas in the bottle to displace an element which effects the change-over. Concentrate in supply containers thereof is cooled by coolant used from cooling the carbonation chamber.

摘要： Provided herein are compositions and methods to improve treatment of chronic infections, and reduce, delay, or inhibit formation of biofilms, using specific combinations of aminoglycoside antibiotics and high, localized concentrations of one or more PMF stimulating compounds. These novel methods are easily adapted to clinical settings as toxicity and efficacy of the antibiotics and metabolites used have already been studied in vivo, and as dosing for both the antibiotics and metabolites are known. These approaches and therapeutic methods are also useful with non-metabolic chemicals that induce proton-motive force in bacteria.

摘要： A microphone for transducing between an acoustical signal and an electrical signal, comprises a housing and a motor assembly disposed within the housing. The motor assembly includes a backplate and a diaphragm attached to the backplate via a spacer. The diaphragm comprising a ring and a film, the diaphragm vibrates in response to an acoustical signal, wherein the film is formed from an amorphous or semi-crystallized polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and a metal layer is attached to the film. The film is completely covered by the metal layer and a portion of the metal is removed using a direct energy source, leaving a portion of the film directly exposed resulting in reducing the parasitic capacitances between the backplate and the diaphragm and increasing the sensitivity. Alternatively, the film is partially covered by the metal layer. At least one opening is formed on the microphone and acoustically/electrically coupled to an opening formed on a main printed circuit board of an electronic device, defining a surface mountable microphone.

摘要： A fluid injecting device (30) generally including a fluid delivery assembly (32) and a needle-free injecting assembly (34). The fluid delivery assembly (32) delivers or transfers the fluid medicine from a cartridge (40) into the needle-free injecting assembly (34) for injecting into a patient.
