摘要： A printable display media laminate (10) for use as a point of purchase sign or the like comprises a face stock layer (12) which may be paper or other easily printable material. A coating composition (14) is extrusion coated onto a face of the paper or other face stock material to provide a "clinging" layer to form a self adhering laminate which is positionable on a smooth surface and is easily removed without leaving any adhesive residue or the like. The coating composition may be an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a predetermined content of vinyl acetate, and may include stabilizers and aged adhesion inhibitors. The laminate is positioned on a substrate by pressure induced adherence and is selectively repositionable. The face stock material is amenable to a variety of printing techniques including offset printing to provide extremely useful and cost effective product.

摘要： Mixtures are disclosed which include between about 0.05 to about 5 or less wt. % of at least one acrylate monomer based on the total weight of the mixture. The acrylate monomer reduces the peak cure temperature, thereby accelerating the rate of cure, without sacrificing completeness of the cure or the release performance of the cured product. The addition of the acrylate monomer also enables a reduction in the amount of costly platinum catalyst required to effectively cure a a mixture. In addition to the acrylate monomer, the mixtures also include a silicone base polymer, a crosslinking agent, and platinum catalyst. The cured compositions formed from the mixtures exhibit properties useful for incorporation into release liners, adhesive articles, medical products and gaskets.

摘要： A multilayer film may include a polymeric film layer and an absorbing layer on a side of the polymeric film layer. The absorbing layer may be adapted to absorb an odor, a volatile organic compound, or both. The absorbing layer may include a palladium complex and at least one of a cyclodextrin, a hydrophobin protein, and a derivative thereof. A process for making a multilayer film including a polymeric film layer, an adhesive layer, and an absorbing layer configured to absorb an odor or a volatile organic compound includes providing th polymeric film layer and applying to a first surface of the polymeric film layer an adhesive. The process includes applying to a second surface of the polymeric film layer an absorbing topcoat solution or said absorbing complex. The process includes drying the absorbing topcoat solution to form the absorbing layer.
