摘要： Systems and methods for providing a trial neurostimulation to a patient for assesssing suitability of a permanently implatned neurostimulation are provided herein. In one aspect, a trial neurostimulation system includes an EPG patch adhered to a skin surface of a patient and connected to a lead extending through a percutaneous incission to a target tissue location. The EPG may be a modified version of the IPG used in the permanent system, the EPG may be smaller and/or lighter than the corresponding IPG device. The EPG and a lead extension may be sealed to allow improved patient mobility and reduced risk of infection. The EPG may be compatible with wireless systems used to control and monitor the IPG such that operation and control of the EPG is substantially the same in each system to allow seemless conversion to the permantly implanted system

An implantable neurostimulator for delivering such one or more electrical pulses can include a hermetic housing made of a biocompatible material, an energy storage feature, and at least one lead. The implantable neurostimulator can further include stimulation circuitry that can include a first circuit and a second circuit. The first circuit can include an adjustable resistance element having a first terminal and a second terminal, a first switch coupled to the first terminal of the adjustable resistance element and selectively coupleable with a stimulation-voltage node and a ground node, a second switch selectively coupling the a first one of the plurality of electrodes to one of: the second terminal of the adjustable resistance element; and the stimulation-voltage node.

摘要： A multichannel clip device and methods of use that facilitate connection of multiple electrical components of a first device and a second device for testing and/or verification are provided herein. Such multichannel clip devices can include a spring-loaded clip having multiple electrical contacts for coupling with a contact portion of a first device and which are connected to a proximal connector through a flexible stimulation cable. The contacts can be included within a neurostimulation lead connector and the proximal connector adapted to couple with standard connectors on a clinician programmer, each contact being coupled to a corresponding contact of the proximal connector to define multiple separate channels. Such clip devices allow clinicians to test and/or verify multiple neurostimulation lead electrodes with a clinician programmers without requiring separate connection of each electrodes to a probe or test device and further allows for repeated sequencing or multi-plexing of neurostimulation leads during testing.

摘要： An implantable pulse generator that includes a current source/sink generator is disclosed herein. The current source/sink generator includes a current drive differential amplifier. The current driver differential amplifier is configured to selectively source current to, or sink current from a target tissue. The current drive differential amplifier includes an inverting input and a non-inverting input. One of the inputs of the current drive differential amplifier is connected to a virtual ground, and the other is connected to a current command. A stimulation controller can supply a voltage to the other of the inputs of the current drive differential amplifier to select either current sourcing or current sinking.

The antenna circuit includes a first pathway having a capacitor and a second, parallel pathway including a capacitor, and a resistor, and a radiating element arranged in series. The antenna circuit is tuned to have a resonant frequency corresponding to a desired transmission frequency and a bandwidth corresponding to shifts in the resonant frequency arising from the implantation of the antenna circuit in a patient's body.
