摘要： A fastener for mounting a panel to a supporting structure includes a fastener part having a base with an upper and lower side. A connector is adapted to engage with another fastener part projecting from the upper side of the base. The lower side of the base is adapted to be adhesively connected to a substrate and incorporating a surface configuration that promotes a mechanical connection with an adhesive. The lower side surface configuration includes a protrusion extending from the base to a crown. The protrusion includes an undercut portion configured to form a mechanical connection with the adhesive. In use adhesive fills between the protrusions and forms a mechanical connection with the undercut portions when hardened.

摘要： A locking pin system (10) comprises a pin in the form of a shaft (12), and retaining assemblies (14) at opposite ends of the shaft (12). The ends of the shaft (12) are captively held in locating apertures of a lug (21) of a shackle (20). The lug (21) has aligned opposite recesses (26) in which the retaining assemblies (14) are fixed. The retaining assemblies (14) each include a barrier locatable adjacent the respective locating aperture of the lug (21) to close off the locating aperture, thereby preventing the shaft (12) from being ejected through the locating aperture. The barrier includes a lock formation operable to engage a locating formation associated with the shackle (20) to releasably lock the barrier in position.

A surface cover can be provided with a cover snap member that has a drill guide through which a hole can be drilled into the surface. The hole can be used to fasten a surface snap member, which snaps together with the cover snap member. The surface snap member can be attached to the surface through a separate screw. Alternatively, the surface snap member can comprise an integral screw that provides for self- attachment. The surface snap member can have a bore which aligns with the drill guide when the surface snap member and the cover snap member are snapped together. The user can snap the cover snap member and surface snap member and drill a hole into the surface through the channel formed by the aligned drill guide and bore.
