摘要： An integrated snubbing platform is provided that includes a snubbing section including a snubbing jack assembly and a secondary blowout preventer (BOP) connected to the snubbing jack assembly; and a primary BOP section connected directly to the secondary BOP. The integrated snubbing platform is transportable as a single unit and mountable onto a wellhead as a single unit. A method of mounting a snubbing assembly, a secondary BOP unit and a primary BOP stack onto a wellhead is also provided. The method involves first providing an integrated snubbing platform having a snubbing section that includes a snubbing jack assembly and a secondary blowout preventer (BOP) connected to the snubbing jack assembly; and a primary BOP section connected directly to the secondary BOP. The method then involves mounting the integrated snubbing platform onto a wellhead as a single unit.

A bow spring assembly (100) having bow spring members is installed around the outer surface of the casing section and can rotate about the outer surface of the casing section. A portion of the casing section that is aligned with the bow spring assembly is swaged to increase the outer diameter of that section. Bow spring heel supports prevent bow spring members from contacting the outer surface of the central casing section when compressed. Non-abrasive materials prevent damage to wellhead or other polished bore receptacles.

摘要： A first aspect of the invention provides a gas or oil well tubing having an annular packer mounted thereon, wherein the annular packer is formed from an eutectic alloy. By prefabricating the annular packer on the tubing it can be placed in situ from the outset and thus can be active by melting at any time to form a eutectic seal quickly and easily. An annular packer with by-pass conduits is also provided to enable cement to be pumped past the annular packer when it is in situ. The annular packer is further provided with conduit clearance means to clear cement from within the conduits.

摘要： High-strength, fatigue-resistant pipe connectors suitable for use in offshore risers, tendons and pipelines, such as may be connected to floating production systems (FPSs) principally used in the production of oil and gas. The present connectors include tubular pin and box components with mating frusto-conical, concentrically-grooved mating surfaces which threadingly interlock, and non-threaded (e.g., flat) mating surfaces that seal and preload (e.g., preload at least a portion of each component in compression), via axial advancement of the pin component into the box component. In such connectors, axial movement of the pin into the mating box results the in radial expansion of the box and radial contraction of the pin until the concentric thread patterns match and interlockingly snap into the connected position.
