摘要： Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless node may receive one or more data messages which may include a set of packets that may each be associated with a sequence number. The set of packets may be received with a gap in the set of sequence numbers, indicating missing packets. The wireless node may forward the set of packets to a processing layer of the wireless node. The wireless node may then accept, from the processing layer of the wireless node, a set of duplicate (DUP) acknowledgment (ACK) messages based on the set of packets being forwarded to the processing layer while having the gap in the set of sequence numbers. The wireless node may transmit, a subset of the set of DUP ACKs rather than all of the set of DUP ACKs to another wireless node, such as a base station.

摘要： Techniques for processing data for a set of protocols at a transmitter and a receiver are described. In one exemplary embodiment, the receiver decodes received frames to obtain decoded MAC frames, obtains un-ordered RLC frames from the decoded MAC frames, and deciphers the un-ordered RLC frames to obtain deciphered RLC frames. In another exemplary embodiment, the receiver computes partial checksums for RLC frames, computes checksums for IP headers, and computes checksums for TCP/UDP frames based on the partial checksums for the RLC frames and the checksums for the IP headers. In yet another exemplary embodiment, the transmitter generates MAC and RLC headers in a fast memory, transfers these header to an internal memory, retrieves a block of data from an external memory in a single transaction, moves the block of data and the RLC headers to form RLC frames, and moves the RLC frames and MAC headers to form MAC frames.

As described herein, at time periods at which transmission of status messages is desired, respective status signaling associated with a set of radio bearers, logical channels, or the like can be configured to be transmitted prior to conducting transmission(s) of data. By doing so, a receiving entity can obtain the status signaling at substantially the earliest possible opportunity, allowing the receiving entity to avoid unnecessary bandwidth and/or memory expenditure associated with re-transmissions of information. As further described herein, status information can be prioritized by the use of separate status bearers, respective indicators provided within information elements queued on respective radio bearers, a maintained list of respective radio bearers containing status information, and other similar mechanisms.
