摘要： The present invention provides an insulating batt of non-woven fibers. This batt is comprised of synthetic fibers, natural fibers, bonding materials or any mixture thereof. It is characterized by an axis of length, an axis of width, and an axis of thickness, wherein the extreme fibers at one end of said axis of thickness form the proximal face of the batt, and the extreme fibers at the other end of said axis of thickness form the distal face of the batt and wherein either said distal face, said proximal face or both faces are essentially non-planar faces.

摘要： The following invention presents a novel apparatus for a gradual and controlled feed of bulk material to a weigh hopper. The batcher comprising inter alia a retaining hopper containing at least a portion of the bulk material to be weighed comprised of at least one aperture outlet through which bulk material is supplied gradually to said weigh hopper. The size of said aperture is controlled by a means of a set of a first closeable valve and a second closeable valve. The apparatus comprising also a weight hopper adapted to receive said bulk material in a controllable manner and a weight comparator adapted to compare the weight of the bulk material in said weigh hopper with a first, second and third predetermined values and to transmit a plurality of a first, second and third weight control signals to said first and second valves wherein said weight of the bulk material is equal or grater than said predetermined values and a forth control signal is provided whereat all material is dropped from the weigh pan.

摘要： The present invention provides a novel carding machine for preparing a continuous non-woven fibrous web. This machine is comprised of a succession of carding cylinders including a first carding cylinder and subsequently a final carding cylinder; said cylinders are in communication with one or more carding rolls- doffers and/or randomizing rolls arranged in juxtaposition and rotate wherein their axes horizontal; at least one feeding inlet unit in communication with said first carding cylinder; and at least one product outlet in communication with said last carding cylinder; wherein one or more product outlets commenced form said carding succession, previous to said final carding cylinder. The present invention also provides for a cost effective method for maintaining fiber density on the carding cylinder while increasing production rate of the machine through the discharge of a certain amount of fully opened fibers from the cylinder.
