    • The compact formation contains a matrix which can be prepared through compaction of a layer or layers of non-woven fabrics and also a component of discrete particles originally situated in this layer or layers of non- woven fabrics retained in the filtering mechanism. That may be a polymer matrix which can be prepared through the compression of the filtration layer or layers of non-woven fabrics with fibers made of polymer materials, fibres made of biopolymer materials, microfibers and/or nanofibers.
