    • A method and device for processing uplink random access signals, which relate to the communication field and can implement a maximum signal-to-noise ratio detection for the uplink random access signals, are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention. The method of the present invention includes: receiving uplink random access signals, wherein said uplink random access signals are time domain signals and include a first part signals and a second part signals which are both phase repeated signals whose phase differences are constant; implementing phase compensation for said first part signals, to make the phase of said first part signals consistent with that of the second part signals; implementing coherent combination for the compensated first part signals and said second part signals. The embodiments of the present invention are mostly used for the detection process of the uplink random access signals.

    • A method and a device for data transmission are provided. The method comprises: a cross polarization antenna array is composed by multi-antenna of a Base Station (BS)(21); and a weighting matrix of a data stream to be sent by the BS is calculated according to the channel information between the BS and a Mobile Station (MS)(22); the data stream to be sent by the BS is weighted according to the weighting matrix, and the data stream which has been weighted is sent from the BS to the MS(23). The demodulation capability can be improved, because the method adopts the cross polarization antenna array in the BS, and some irrelevance exists between the cross antennas; thus the method enables that the whole capability of sending the data stream from the BS side to the MS side is improved evidently.

    • Disclosed are methods of preparing a macromolecular conjugated ligand and a metal complex thereof. The metal complex is targeted for use as a contrast agent, for example, in MRI. The method of preparing a macromolecular conjugated ligand comprises: (a) providing a compound of formula (I) Formula (I), wherein R, A, and Pg are as defined herein, (b) reacting the compound of formula (I) with a macromolecular compound (e.g., dendrimer) in an organic solvent medium which is substantially free of water to obtain a macromolecular conjugated compound, and (c) removing the carboxyl-protecting groups to obtain a carboxyl-deprotected macromolecular conjugated compound. The metal complex can be prepared by reacting the carboxyl-deprotected macromolecular conjugated compound with an ion (e.g., Gd(III)). Also disclosed are carboxyl-protected intermediate compounds.

    • Disclosed is a method and system for sorting a plurality of green wood veneer sheets (10) into a plurality of subsets of sheets, the subsets including a "driest" subset, a "wettest" subset, and one or more "intermediate" subsets. The pattern of light is recorded by an image acquisition and processing subsystem (50) as an image, which is fed to an image analysis subsystem (60) programmed to analyse the light pattern and to produce a mathematical representation of the image. An integrated moisture content value (IMCV) is set for the particular veneer sheet (10). Based on this value, a controller (70) sends signals (65) to the conveyor system (20) to convey the particular sheet to a location storing sheets having similar IMCV values for drying.
