摘要： A crystalliser for the continuous casting of blooms and billets provided with a porous insert capable of ensuring an optimal distribution of a lubricant on its internal surface, over and under the meniscus, thus improving and making the lubrication more efficient, in particular, in the area contacting the skin being formed of the billet. Advantageously, the porosity features of the insert arranged in a housing made in the thickness of the crystalliser itself, allow to considerably increase the casting speed up to 3- to 4-fold with respect to the current speeds. Thanks to the crystalliser of the invention, the risk of sticking of the skin on the wall of the crystalliser, and subsequent breakage of the skin itself with break-out of the liquid metal, is also dramatically reduced.

摘要： Process and ultra-compact plant for the production of steel strip including a mold that produces a very thin slab, with narrow sides between 25 and 32 mm thick, and with a bulge, characterized by a core in which the steel is still liquid. The slab is passed at a speed of between 6 and 16 m/min through a vertical prerolling device that reduces the thickness of the slab and closes its liquid core. The slab is then pre-rolled and, forming a loop, assumes a horizontal position where it is descaled and undergoes reduction in a compact group of milllstands, maintaining its temperature above the recrystallization point Ar3.

摘要： Crystallizer (10) comprising two crystallizer rollers (11, 12) disposed substantially parallel to each other to define a meniscus (18) of liquid steel arriving from a tundish (13). The crystallizer rollers (11, 12) are provided inside with cooling means and are able to rotate in opposite directions to convey the liquid steel downwards while it is solidifying in contact with the crystallizer rollers (11, 12).
