摘要： A cutter element for a drill bit includes a base portion having a central axis, a first end, and a second end. In addition, the cutter element includes a cutting layer fixably mounted to the first end of the base portion. The cutting layer includes a cutting face distal the base portion. The cutting face includes a first planar surface and a second planar surface that is circumferentially-spaced from the first planar surface. Each planar surface is positioned at an outer periphery of the cutting face adjacent the radially outer surface of the cutting layer. The cutting face also includes a saddle surface including a crown and a pair of lateral side surfaces that slope down and away from the crown toward the radially outer cylindrical surface of the cutting layer. The crown extends from the first planar surface to the second planar surface.

摘要： A stable three-dimensional core-shell metal-nitride catalyst consisting of NiFeN nanoparticles decorated on NiMoN nanorods supported on porous Ni foam (NiMoN@NiFeN), which functions as an oxygen evolution reaction catalyst for alkaline seawater electrolysis. It yields large current densities of 500 and 1000 mA cm -2 at overpotentials of 369 and 398 mV, respectively, in alkaline natural seawater at 25 ℃. Combined with an efficient hydrogen evolution reaction catalyst of NiMoN nanorods, current densities of 500 and 1000 mA cm -2 at low voltages of 1.608 and 1.709 V, respectively are achieved for overall alkaline seawater splitting at 60 ℃.

摘要： An electronics module or "puck" is positioned in a recess formed in the outer surface of a downhole tool. The puck body includes a flange segment having a first outer diameter, and an adjacent seal-engaging segment having an outer diameter that is less than the outer diameter of the flange segment. An annular seal is disposed about the seal-engaging segment and seals between the puck and the perimeter wall of the recess. A cover ring is disposed over an intermediate segment of the puck body, capturing the seal between the cover and the flange segment. A retainer ring is employed to selectively engage and disengage the perimeter wall of the recess, retaining the puck, seal and covering ring in the recess. A method for installation and removal of the puck is disclosed.
