    • The purpose of the present invention is to provide an X-ray imaging device capable of obtaining more diversified X-ray image information. To this end, the present invention comprises: an X-ray generation device for generating an X-ray; an X-ray detection device for detecting the X-ray which is generated in the X-ray generation device and penetrates the subject; and a collimator arranged between the X-ray generation device and the X-ray detection device, wherein the X-ray detection device and/or the collimator provides an X-ray imaging device configured to rotate relative to the X-ray generation device. Thus, since it is possible to adjust an X-ray detection area if necessary, the visual field of the imaging device can be adjusted such that diversified X-ray image information can be obtained.

    • A system is provided including a processing unit including an input module, a processing module, and an output module. The processing unit is located at a first location that is remotely located from a scanning location at which a remote medical scanning system is located. The input module is configured to communicate with the remote medical scanning system to receive scanning data obtained during a scan performed by the remote medical scanning system, the scanning data corresponding to an object scanned by the remote medical scanning system. The processing module is configured to use the scanning data to reconstruct an image representing the object. The output module is configured to provide access to the image reconstructed by the processing module to at least one of the remote medical scanning system or a requester located remotely from the first location.

    • In a method and x-ray device to assist in the reduction of the dose of x-ray radiation applied to the patient in the acquisition of at least one x-ray projection of the patient, a selected protocol is entered by a user into an x-ray device, the selected protocol being defined for the acquisition of the at least one x-ray projection and including a measure or measures for reduction of the dose of x-ray radiation to be applied to the patient in the acquisition of the at least one x-ray projection. The does reduction measure or measures in the selected protocol are automatically compared in a processor of the x-ray device, with the dose reduction measures that are installed at the x-ray device for reduction of the dose of x-ray radiation to be applied to a patient in the acquisition of the at least one x-ray projection. If the result of the comparison indicates a discrepancy between the dose reduction measure or measures in the selected, defined protocol and those installed in the x-ray device, at least one such measure installed at the x-ray device is visualized as a measure that can be set or activated by the user, that is not yet included in the selected protocol.
