The system comprising: a first enhanced node comprising a first processor, the first processor configured to: transmit a legacy frame header of a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), the legacy frame header comprising an indicator indicating that sub-PPDUs will be transmitted during a duration associated with transmission of a legacy PPDU; a second enhanced node comprising a second processor configured to receive the legacy frame header; and a third enhanced node comprising a third processor configured to receive the legacy frame header.

摘要： The system comprises at least one teleprinter station (1) connected to an exchange (3) by means of a transmission-reception line (2) and comprising a polarity detector (31) for the line circulating current, and a device (30) for reversing the connection of the line wires. If the wires erroneously become reversely connected following maintenance work on a line of single current type, then false call and conversation signals are generated which automatically trigger a checking operation in which the polarity detector is suitably examined under control of a ROM routine E controlling a CPU 84. If the current is found to be the reverse of the correct current, the reversing device is operated in order to reverse the polarity of the connection. In contrast, in the case of a double current line, the reversing device is operated when current is absent in the reception line, thus indicating an erroneous line connection. If the line current interruption is prolonged, a warning device (28) is activated.

摘要： A process for testing a data transmission system by which data are transmitted by way of two data transmission links and by way of a first transmission device and a second transmission device provides that a test loop is closed, in dependence upon a loop signal, and a transmission section is tested. Data are transmitted in data blocks and each block includes a status bit, a synchronizing bit and n data bits. The loop signal is formed from a given combination of the status bit and data bits, and at least one of the data bits is inverted before being returned to the second transmission device.

摘要： A paging system, or the like, having a transmitting station and a plurality of pocket sized subscriber units is disclosed. The transmitting station has a keyboard for encoding alphanumeric characters of a message and a subscriber code, a storage means for a predetermined number of characters of a message, means for converting a binary character code, such as ASCII, to a binary code representative of the character to be displayed in matrix form, and a format circuit for transmitting successive columns of the successive matrix code with blank columns and timing spaces therebetween to facilitate reconstruction of the subscriber code and message. Each of the subscriber units is battery powered and sized to be carried in a pocket of the user's clothing. Each pocket unit includes a receiver, means for detecting a unique subscriber code and enabling the display, for example, a non-impact type thermal printer having a single column of thermal print elements, and a system for advancing a thermally sensitive record tape past the print elements. Synchronism of such pocket printer is controlled by the format of the subscriber code and message, with blank spaces at the end of each column of data being detected to cause the print elements to be heated in accordance with the column data and then the record tape advanced one column width. A receiver having a nonprinting, visual message display is also disclosed.

摘要： A teleprinting apparatus which eliminates a dial switch for connection to a remote subscriber and which substitutes a circuit arrangement which utilizes the keyboard through a coding system to generate pulse trains for connection to the remote subscriber. A selection pulse generator is set in operation by a "proceed to select" signal which is supplied with signals emitted by a keyboard and derived from a counter pulse train of constant repetition frequency. In this way selection pulses are produced, the number of which is determined by the key which is being operated. The number is actually fixed by the use of a comparator which compares the keyboard signal with the output of a counter which is counting the pulse train.

摘要： A baseplate attachment for initiating operations of a typewriter in response to coded electrical signals from an external source includes bail actuators for manipulating the internal character selection mechanism of the typewriter and further includes solenoids which determine the particular bail actuators to be activated in response to each set of incoming signals. The driving force for operating the bail actuators to manipulate the character selection mechanism is obtained from the typewriter motor rather than the solenoids which may be small and do not require high current input signals.
