摘要： A Raster and Stroke Writing Deflection Amplifier Arrangement for a cathode ray tube (CRT) is disclosed which uses a conventional vertical oscillator and vertical deflection amplifier and a conventional horizontal oscillator and synchronous horizontal deflection amplifier, both driving deflection coils for providing vertical and low power horizontal scan operation for raster scan writing of data, and a flyback transformer and rectifier for providing the high D.C. voltage required by the CRT anode by rectification of high surge voltages created during horizontal retrace periods. During each vertical retrace period a switch connects the synchronous horizontal deflection amplifier to a dummy yoke at a zero crossing of the horizontal deflection signal for uninterrupted operation, connects a source of horizontal stroke writing signals amplified by a linear amplifier to the deflection coil, and also connects a source of vertical stroke writing signals to the vertical deflection amplifier to drive the deflection coil to accomplish stroke writing of information during each vertical retrace period.

摘要： A digital signal distribution system for distributing digital signals to remote points of a machine. It is comprised of a distribution device arranged at each of said points. In each device, a receiver receives on its true and complementary inputs, the signal to be distributed. The drivers are connected to the receivers through a crossed connection, the true output of the receiver being connected to the complementary input of the driver, and the complementary output of the receiver being connected to the true input of the driver, so as to cancel the skew of the pulse width of the signal to be distributed. The signals on outputs of the driver circuits can be utilized locally or transmitted to another remote point.

The switch is controlled by a second switch, such as a bipolar transistor, and the second switch is able to selectively control the first switch, whereby the yoke current can be reversed, to provide complete flyback, or can be truncated part way through flyback to stop the retrace at an intermediate position. The flyback amplifier also has provision for linear operation without flyback. The present invention accomplishes the foregoing with very few parts and with very little power consumption.

摘要： In a deflection amplifier, a sampling resistor is connected in series with a magnetic deflection yoke and develops a sampling voltage in response to the deflection current and parasitic current flowing therethrough. At low frequencies the sampling voltage causes a feedback current and a deflection current which is proportional to an input voltage. At high frequencies, a network responsive to the voltage provided to the series combination of the yoke and the sampling resistor causes the sampling voltage to be ignored and causes the feedback current and the deflection current to be proportional to the input voltage.

摘要： There is disclosed a deflection amplifier for a cathode-ray ray tube which normally acts as a linear amplifier to enable operation in a random access mode. However, an input signal commanding the beam to move linearly across the screen followed by an input signal commanding a fast return, or fly back, automatically shifts operation to an energy recovery mode in which energy is transferred from the deflection coil to a capacitor and back again. During this operation, the power supply and the input stages are automatically disconnected, but are automatically reconnected as the fly back is completed.
