摘要： A firearm safety system for use in an associated portable electronic device is described herein. The system includes logic executable by a microprocessor to control a firearm to selectively prevent a feed member from communicating a bullet or a striker from contacting the bullet thereby selectively preventing shooting the gun. Pass code data is received from an associated user of the firearm safety system and is compared against security pass code data stored a memory to generate an unlock signal in response to the logic determining the pass code data received from the associated user matches the stored security pass code data. The unlock signal is communicated from the associated portable electronic device to a receiver of the firearm device as the enable signal to control the associated firearm device to selectively permit the feed member and/or the striker from operating.

摘要： A firearm safety system and method is described herein. The system may include a tracking system, a smart firearm and/or a smart magazine, and a smart tracking unit. The tracking system is in communication with satellites that monitor specific locations, a smart firearm and a portable electronic device. The tracking system includes an internal geographical database of specific monitored locations. The smart firearm includes a microprocessor and a receiver. The motor operates in response to a signal received, which may indicate that the firearm is approaching a no gun safety zone, whereby the signal causes the microprocessor to operate the automatic safety lock to prevent the apparatus from operating. The receiver monitors signals and receives location data from the satellites. The method of operating a smart firearm includes receiving a signal at the at least one receiver and responding to the signal by locking the automatic safety lock.

To fire, press the trigger inward which releases the compressed firing pin assembly to slide forward into the cartridge. To put the weapon into a safe position, hinge the rear housing of the device upward while pressing the safety button inward and the device will resume a straight pen like appearance.

摘要： An operating system for a firearm includes a trigger, a hammer, a disconnector, a pivoting arm, and a lower member. The trigger includes a lower portion, an upper portion, and a trigger pivot. The disconnector includes a lower portion, an upper portion, and a disconnector pivot. The pivoting arm includes a forward protrusion, a pivoting arm opening, and a pin extending through the pivoting arm opening. The lower member includes a lower member opening and a pin hole that is coaxial with the trigger pivot and the disconnector pivot. At least a portion of the trigger and at least a portion of the disconnector are disposed within the lower member opening. Motion of the trigger causes the forward protrusion of the pivoting arm to engage a bolt carrier group and hold the bolt carrier group in an open position.

At a first rearward position of the slide the carrier is restrained in a cocked configuration. On the way to a second rearward position of the slide, the slide, slide link and carriage lock disengage from the carriage, launch arm and launch spring. When the carriage and launch arm are triggered, the launch spring releases and the launch arm impacts the inner wall of the projectile for discharge.

摘要： A device and method introduces the use of conventional ammunitions to the archery/bow hunting industry. The device achieves stealthy delivery of firearm munitions and increases the firepower of standard arrows resulting in deeper penetration into a target. The device consists generally of a cylindrical housing threaded internally on one end for attachment to a firing pin. A cartridge is loaded into the housing until the flange on the cartridge casing abuts an interior shoulder. In an alternate embodiment, the interior of the housing further includes an annular retaining tab. The retaining tab separates the cartridge from the firing pin to prevent inadvertent discharge. A cap or nosecone may be included to further protect the device from accidental discharge of the cartridge and to provide aerodynamic advantages. The housing may further include a set of stabilizing vanes.
