    • A breech device of a hand firearm comprises a firearm casing, a trigger mechanism, a carrier slidably arranged within the firearm casing, and a breech block engaging the carrier and having a firing pin. The breech device further includes a tensioning element slidably engaged with the carrier and coupled to at least one follower pin engaging the firing pin and slidably engaged with the breech block. The tensioning element includes a projecting part having a forward-directed nose adapted to engage a stop detent on the trigger mechanism. The breech device further includes a tensioning pin slidably engaged with the carrier and the breech block.

    • The mechanism is applicable in military manufacture and is designed to be built in automatic and semi-automatic firearms of the kinds: pistols, machine guns and submachine guns. This mechanism is with simple construction and ensures enhanced over travel security for weapons, no safety, allowing for no accidental shooting to take place. The striker-trigger mechanism consists of a striker mechanism, a trigger mechanism and a fire-selecting mechanism integrated via a rear block (30). The fire selecting mechanism takes the form of a fire select (29). placed behind the breach block (34) with an extractor, and an internal step-like channel (7) centrally located, containing a firing pin (1) with enlargements at both ends, front and rear one respectively. The firing pin (1) has profile tooth (2) protruding outside the breach block (34) meant to engage with the trigger mechanism through a trigger (15) equipped with a return spring (18) and joint-lined to the frame (35). The trigger (15) connects with a profile one-arm lever, made as trigger bar (10) pushed to the breach block (34) by spring (19). The trigger bar (10) has an upper lug surface (11) and a firing tooth (12) to link with the striking mechanism. Between the two enlargements two axially movable spring cups (3 and 5) are separated by the volute firing pin spring (4) coiled around the firing pin (1).

    • A firing mode selector apparatus enables a rifle to be selected into one of four different modes in a logical sequence from safe to semi-automatic to burst to full automatic or vice versa. The selector lever of the rifle is configured to receive a modified sear leg which is oriented substantially diagonally and is biased against the selector sear cam. The selector lever contains cam depressions which are cut from the selector lever at a tangential angle to receive the sear leg and which take much less material from the selector lever than prior art devices.

    • The trigger mechanism of a hand-held automatic firearm comprises a catch lever, which is pivoted on a transverse axis and is provided at its forward end with a pivoted catch pawl, which in a catching position engages a catching lug of a slider to arrest the slider as it moves forwardly from a rear position, to which the slider, which constitutes a part of a firing mechanism of the firearm, has moved against spring force when a round has been discharged. In order to provide such a firearm which has a trigger mechanism which is reliable in operation and can be made at low cost, the catch lever is adapted to be locked in its catching position against the force of a catch lever spring, the catch pawl is pivoted to the catch lever by means which permit a longitudinal movement of the catch pawl and the catch pawl is pivotally supported at its other end on an abutment, which is fixed to the receiver of the firearm.
