    • A pump device for lubricant includes a pump main body; a cylinder part having an introduction port and a derivation port; a piston moving within the cylinder part; an actuator moving the piston forward to a 1st position to discharge a lubricant from the derivation port, backward from the 1st position to a 2nd position to suction the lubricant from the introduction port and further backward from the 2nd position to a 3rd position to stop the suction and discharge of the lubricant; and a driving control device controlling the actuator such that when the lubricant is supplied, the piston is moved from the 3rd position to the 1st position and moved between the 1st position and the 2nd position, and when the lubricant is not supplied, the piston is moved to the 3rd position and stopped.

    • An automatic lubricant dispenser has a lower housing part formed with an outlet, a piston displaceable along an axis in the lower part and forming therein a compartment, a spindle extending along the axis, threaded into the piston, having an upper end above the piston provided with a lower coupling half, and a body of fluent lubricant filling the compartment and forming with the spindle, piston, and lower housing part a lower subassembly. An upper housing part securable to the lower part via a screwthread forms an upper subassembly. An insert mainly in the upper housing part forms a battery compartment and carries a motor unit having an output shaft projecting downward therefrom at the axis and provided with an upper coupling half axially engageable with the lower coupling half. The coupling halves are axially engageable to rotationally couple the motor output shaft to the spindle. A battery is provided in the battery compartment and a circuit board fixed to the insert is connected between the battery and the motor unit. An on-off switch mounted on the circuit board is actuatable to energize the motor unit from the battery. The insert, motor unit, battery, circuit board, and switch together forming a core subassembly normally held between the upper and lower subassemblies.

    • The lubricator of the invention is a one-shot or non-continuous type. It has a first reservoir within which to receive a charge of lubricant, and a second reservoir from which to expel a charge of lubricant, and a piston slidable therebetween for moving lubricant from the first reservoir to the second reservoir, and also for discharging lubricant from the second reservoir and externally of the lubricator. Upon the piston moving, slidably, in a first direction it creates a partial vacuum in the first reservoir and, consequently, ingests lubricant into the first reservoir. Then, as the piston moves in the second, opposite direction, it diminishes the volume of the first reservoir, and displaces lubricant therefrom through a channel formed centrally in the piston. The lubricant conducted through the channel is deposited in the second reservoir, and is expelled therefrom, by the piston, when next the piston moves in the first, slidable direction.

    • A power-driven chain saw having a lubricating pump for the saw chain and/or guide bar. A pump housing has a pump chamber and lubricating fluid inlet and outlet passages communicating therewith and a plunger reciprocable therein. A wobble ring having planetary elements positioned therewithin is connected operably with the plunger, said wobble ring being movable so as to cause reciprocation of said plunger. A sun element is operably connected to the drive for the saw chain and the pair of planetary elements are driven by the sun element around same and within the wobble ring. A difference in the diameter between the planetary elements results in vertical movement of the wobble ring to cause reciprocation of the plunger.
