摘要： The present invention describes a flexible conduit element with an end portion suitable for attachment to a rigid conduit element. The flexible conduit element comprises: a bellows member; an interlock member; an outer fixing member; and an connection nozzle, where, in an axial cross section at an end portion of the flexible conduit element, the outer fixing member is disposed outside of the bellows member, the bellows member is disposed outside of the interlock member, and the interlock member is disposed outside of the connection nozzle, and a gas-tight seal connects the bellows member and the connection nozzle. A method of assembly such a flexible conduit element is also disclosed.

摘要： A coupler assembly (10) and method of manufacture (10) for use with pipe comprising a unitary annular body (20) forming first and second cylindrical openings for surrounding a pipe or piping sections to facilitate forming a fluid-tight seal therein. The unitary annular body (20) comprises a medial portion (64) formed from a first material having a first durometer and first and second lateral portions (56, 58) integrally connected to opposite ends of the medial portion (64). The first and second lateral portions (56, 58) are made from a second material having a second durometer relatively higher than the first durometer of the first material. The coupler assembly (10) further comprises at least one clamping assembly (26) surrounding the unitary annular body member (20) adapted for compressing the coupler assembly (10) into a fluid-tight seal.

摘要： A floating chuck incorporating a fluid path for irrigation fluid is disclosed. Fluid passages in the body and bush are connected by a rigid tube floatingly mounted by O-rings at each end. The O-rings are in fluid-sealing relationship with opposed, enlarged end sections of the fluid passages. The tube is shorter than the distance between the inner ends of the enlarged sections. Axial displacement and angular displacement of the bush relative to the body are accomplished without compromise to the fluid supply. The arrangement provides smoothness of movement between the bush and body and has low maintenance costs.

摘要： The adjacent extremities of two lengths of irrigation pipe are axially aligned in a spaced relationship within a longitudinally split, bolt closed coupler sleeve. The coupler sleeve has a diameter greater than that of the pipes and contains a one-piece sealing boot therein which sealably embraces the ends of the irrigation pipe. An open gimbal ring medially surrounds the coupler sleeve in a diametrically spaced relationship with respect thereto. Bracket members are mounted on the opposite sides of each pipe extremity in a longitudinally spaced relationship with respect to the coupler sleeve and a pair of arms extend from each bracket member to opposite pivotal connections with the gimbal ring, the axes of the pivotal connections of one pair being circumferentially spaced on said gimbal ring at 90.degree. from the pivotal connections of the other pair to enable the pipe lengths to freely, relatively and arcuately swing in any desired direction. A signal device is trained between the extremities of the pipe lengths to give a signal relative to the arc of swing between the extremities.

摘要： A detachable coupling device for joining pipe and tubing members in end-to-end relation and providing an hermetic seal, comprising an axially contractible two-part coupling structure in which the parts are rotatably united by screw thread means and are operable to compress enclosed O-ring sealing members with respect to the connected tubing. Tightening of the coupling parts is readily accomplished, but untightening and particularly accidental loosening is restrained by unique releasable detent means in which spring fingers carried by one of the coupling parts engage indentations or notches on the other coupling part in such a manner as to favor relative rotation of the parts in one direction while restraining with greater force the rotation of the parts in the opposite direction.
