摘要： The invention relates to a use of a water-soluble polymer product comprising amphoteric polyacrylamide, which has neutral or cationic net charge at pH 7, a weight-average molecular weight of 2,500,000-18,000,000 g/mol and a total ionicity of 4-28 mol-%. The polymer product is used for controlling deposit formation caused by hydrophobic substances in manufacture of paper or board, where a fibre web is formed from an aqueous suspension of fibres. The invention relates also to a method for controlling deposit formation caused by hydrophobic substances in manufacture of paper or board, where a fibre web is formed from an aqueous suspension of fibres, as well as to produced paper or board.

摘要： A process of analyzing wear on a papermaking fabric includes forming a first representation of a portion of a surface of the fabric showing locations and sizes of knuckles and pockets in the surface of the fabric. A first image is generated based on the first representation. At least one characteristic related to the surface of the fabric is determined using the first image. The fabric is worn. A second representation of a portion of the surface of the fabric is formed showing locations and sizes of knuckles and pockets in the surface of the fabric. A second image of the knuckles of the fabric is generated based on the second representation. At least one characteristic related to the surface of the fabric is determined using the second image. The determining steps are performed using an image analysis program stored in a non-transitory computer readable medium.

摘要： A process for preparing a seam area for a paper machine clothing (PMC) base fabric includes the steps of: forming the PMC base fabric by flat-weaving, the PMC base fabric including warp yarns extending in machine direction and weft yarns extending in cross machine direction and interwoven with the warp yarns, the weft yarns including first weft yarns and a second weft yarn, the second weft yarn being a multifilament yarn, the warp yarns, the first weft yarns, and the multifilament yarn being woven together on a loom in an original weaving process, the multifilament yarn being positioned in an anticipated seam area; and folding over the PMC base fabric, after weaving the multifilament yarn with the warp yarns, to form a seam loop of the PMC base fabric such that the multifilament yarn is a first one of the weft yarns on a sheet side of the seam loop.
