Refill assemblies are also disclosed that include: a spray bottle and/or containment vessel; a refill cartridge cooperatively engaged to the spray bottle and/or containment vessel and including a cartridge body defining a cartridge reservoir having a concentrated chemical agent stored therein; and a release mechanism cooperatively engaged to the cartridge body and selectively movable from a sealing position to a dispensing position relative thereto, the movement of the release mechanism from the sealing position to the dispensing position facilitating the flow of the chemical agent from the cartridge reservoir. Some refill assemblies also include: a bottle having an internal reservoir; and a refill cartridge operatively coupled to the bottle and at least partially residing within the reservoir thereof.

    • A dispensing tube assembly includes a first component delivery tube surrounded by a second component delivery tube. The first component delivery tube provides an axial passage, and an annular passage is defined between the first component delivery tube and the second component delivery tube. A component travelling through the axial passage is diverted to enter the surrounding annular passage and mix with a second component traveling in that annular passage. The premixture formed by this mixture of components is then diverted from the annular passage into a post mix chamber and ultimately dispensed as a foam. A foam media may be employed to homogenous the premixture and create a high quality foam. The dispensing tube assembly is advantageously employed in a dispenser wherein soap and air are advanced through coaxial tubes to be mixed and create a foamed soap product.

    • A device for dispensing a multicomponent composition composed of a mixture of different fluid components includes a first and at least a second fluid component inlet. The device also includes a mixing area located downstream from the fluid component inlets and an outlet extending from the mixing area. Each of the fluid component inlets is adapted to communicate with a source of a different fluid component. The mixing area is adapted to receive a flow of a first and at least second fluid component. Within the mixing area, the flow of the first fluid component is disrupted to allow mixing with the flow of a second fluid component to form a flow of multicomponent composition. The mixing area is further adapted to disrupt the flow of the multicomponent composition before the flow of the multicomponent composition exits through the outlet.

    • An apparatus for dispensing product includes a container with a collection region. The collection region is characterized in part by a selected cross-section having an area smaller than a cross-section of the container preceding the selected cross-section while traveling in a direction of a gravity vector. The cross-sectional areas are proscribed by boundaries of the container on planes normal to the gravity vector. One end of a draw tube is disposed within the collection region. A pump draws product from the collection region through the draw tube. The pump dispenses the product external to the container.
