    • A cyclically operating printing press includes a clocked wheel with a drivable holder for holding a three-dimensional object arranged thereon. A fixed print head is disposed in a printing station. An additional print head is disposed in the printing station at another location or side than the print head relative to the axis of rotation of the three-dimensional object in such a way that: no dirt emanating from the print head can fall down onto any other print head of the printing station as a result of gravity, the at least one additional print head can print the three-dimensional object simultaneously with the other print heads of the printing station, and none of the print heads is arranged in an interference contour formed by the holder and the three-dimensional object held therein being moved by the transport system.

    • Devices, systems, and methods for printing indicia on latex are presented. A system for printing includes a latex surface supported by a mold on a rotary mount, a printer, a base plate supporting print heads, a rotational drive system for selectively rotating the mold during printing, and a printer engine programmed to print indicia onto a substantially contiguous area of the latex surface, from an intermediate border to and including a distal end. In a system with multiple molds moving along a path, the system may include a chassis for supporting the base plate, printer, and/or rotational drive system, and a motion controller for moving the chassis near the molds. Latex articles may be imprinted with indicia that is decorative and/or informative.

    • The invention relates to a marking apparatus for marking an object comprising a marking head having a plurality of receiving spaces for individual marking devices, wherein the receiving spaces are arranged in a plurality of rows and columns, such that a two-dimensional array of receiving spaces is formed, and a driving mechanism for providing a relative movement of the object relative to the marking head in an advance direction during a marking operation. The marking head is rotatable about an axis extending transversely to the advance direction, at least one detector device is arranged downstream of the receiving spaces in the advance direction, and a control marking, which has been applied by at least one marking device arranged in one of the receiving spaces during the movement of the object relative to the marking head, is detectable by the at least one detector device at different angles of rotation of the marking head. The invention further relates to a method for operating a marking apparatus.
