摘要： There is provided a skin foam-in-place foamed article comprising a pad (15) and a bag-like outer material (20) covering the pad (15). The outer material (20) has a top layer (21) and a liner layer (22) made of a foamed resin. The liner layer (22) has a closed cell structure. A pad-side skin layer (27a) having a density higher than that of a bulk layer (26) is provided on the liner layer (22), on a side of the pad (15). A corona treatment is applied to the pad-side skin layer (27a).

摘要： In an embodiment, an adhesive sheet has an expandable adhesive layer 2 on one side or both sides of a base 1, wherein the expandable adhesive layer 2 contains an epoxy resin including a polyfunctional epoxy resin, a phenol resin as a curing agent, an imidazole-based compound as a curing catalyst, and a temperature-sensitive foaming agent. The adhesive sheet has properties in good balance, such as fast curability, heat resistance, and adhesiveness, and also excellent properties such as thermal conductivity attributed to a good filling property.

摘要： Provided is a waterproof ventilation structure including: a housing (20) including an inner space (22) and an opening portion (21); a waterproof gas-permeable membrane (11) placed to cover the opening portion (21); an electroacoustic transducing part (40) placed in the inner space (22); a first double-faced adhesive tape (31) directly joining an inner surface of the housing (20) and an edge portion of one surface of the waterproof gas-permeable membrane (11) together; and a second double-faced adhesive tape (32) directly joining an edge portion of the other surface of the waterproof gas-permeable membrane (11) and the part (40) together. The waterproof gas-permeable membrane (11) has a water entry pressure of 50 kPa or more, and the first double-faced adhesive tape (31) includes a base including a foam material. The total thickness of the waterproof gas-permeable membrane (11) and the first and second double-faced adhesive tapes (31) and (32), as measured in an uncompressed state, is preferably larger than a distance L between the inner surface of the housing (20) and the part (40) so that the foam material placed in the waterproof ventilation structure is compressed in a thickness direction.

摘要： The invention provides a packaged tow being characterized in that a carbon fiber precursor tow having a flattened shape in cross section and having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface is layered and packaged in a packaging container in untwisted state. A front end and a back end of the carbon fiber precursor tow thus packaged are placed on a top of the fully-packaged carbon fiber precursor tow. When the front end and a back end of the tow are respectively applied with top/bottom surface identification means to identify top and bottom surfaces thereof, top and bottom surfaces on front ends and back ends of tows packaged in a plurality of packaging containers can be correctly identified and joined. As a result, thread breakage due to heat accumulation in twisted parts in a flame proofing process can be prevented from happening.

摘要： A component of an implantable medical device may include a first member, a second member, and a composite seam weld formed between the first member and the second member. In some examples, the composite seam weld includes a continuous wave (CW)-welded portion formed using CW welding and a pulse-welded portion formed using pulsed welding. A first end of the pulse-welded portion may partially overlap a first end of the CW-welded portion and may be offset from the first end of the CW-welded portion in a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal orientation of the first end of the CW-welded portion. Techniques for forming composite seam welds are also described.
