摘要： The invention relates to a system for manufacturing polymer parts, comprising: a material-injection portion, a mould movable between at least one open position and a closed position, the mould comprising an outer mould portion, wherein the injection portion is suitable for injecting material into the closed mould so as to form at least one part when the injection portion is connected to the closed mould, and wherein the system is suitable for moving the injection portion relative to the mould after injection, the outer portion being kept in contact with the part formed by injection in order to cool the part during the movement of the injection portion.

A method for manufacturing a power module is also provided.

摘要： An injection unit for a shaping machine includes an injection element suitable for introducing a plasticized material into a mold tool by a linear movement of the injection element. The injection element is coupled in linear motion-transmitting relationship to a bearing element, and at least two linear drives are adapted to exert a force on the injection element by the bearing element. The force can be transmitted by a transmission element from the at least two linear drives to the bearing element and thus to the injection element, and at least one clearance is arranged between the bearing element and the transmission element such that deformations of the bearing element are not transmitted to the transmission element or are transmitted to a reduced degree.

The positioning assembly includes a first translation assembly configured to engender a first movement of the injection unit outlet along a translation plane, and a second translation assembly configured to engender a second movement of the injection unit outlet along the translation plane. The positioning assembly further includes a brake assembly extending between the first translation assembly and the second translation assembly. The brake assembly is configured to selectively create a compressive force between the first and second translation assemblies to maintain the position of the injection unit outlet.

摘要： A method for making an insulated vehicle extension dash panel includes injection molding an extension dash panel from a structural polymer. The method further includes adding a plurality of components to a mixer to form an insulating foaming layer. The plurality of components includes a two-part liquid silicone compound, a catalyst, and a foaming agent. A screw is then coupled to the mixer and the insulating foaming layer is injection molded to an inner face of the extension dash panel. The insulating foaming layer is then cured to the inner face of the extension dash panel to form the insulated vehicle extension dash panel.

After much study, the inventors believe they have arrived at an understanding of the problem and its solution, which are stated below, and the inventors believe this understanding is not known to the public. During operation, the gate orifice and nozzle tip position are fixed. The inventors believe that there appears to be no known mechanism that allows optimization of the tip to gate relationship. Known methods of adjusting position of a nozzle tip, such as shimming between a cavity plate and a manifold plate, or replacing nozzle stack components, may be time consuming and difficult. The known hot runner assembly often must be removed from the molding machine to make the desired adjustments.
