摘要： A filter element may include a tubular member including a partition at least partially defining first and second chambers. The tubular member may further include at least one outlet aperture and at least one inlet aperture configured to provide flow communication exiting from the first chamber and flow communication into the second chamber, respectively. The filter element may be configured such that fluid passing through the filter element from an inlet port to an outlet port passes through the first chamber, a filter medium, and the second chamber. The filter element may also include an end cap having a return aperture configured to provide flow communication between fluid exiting from the first chamber and fluid entering the inlet port, wherein a portion of fluid exiting from the first chamber is returned to the inlet port for recirculation through the first chamber.

摘要： A water purifier system includes a base unit and a filter unit detachably connected to the base unit. The base unit is provided with a water inlet tube for guiding water to the filter unit and with a water outlet tube for guiding purified water from the filter unit. The filter unit includes a container surrounding a replaceable filter element and covered by a removable lid. The container is provided with a water inlet member for guiding unfiltered water from the water inlet tube into the container. The replaceable filter element is provided with a water outlet member for guiding purified water from the filter element to the water outlet tube of the base unit. The water outlet member extends through an opening in the removable lid that covers the container.

This retains the liquid in the cannister and element when drawn upwardly, to prevent drip or spillage, or when lowered to provide a full prime. A method of removing the filtering element without drip, and a method of installing a primed element are also disclosed.

摘要： A fuel filter includes a housing made of plastics and having a main housing portion accommodating a filter element, and a cover. The housing portions are tightly connected to each other at a single ring-shaped glue spot. The housing portion is formed with a pocket filled with glue and the cover is formed with a collar partially projecting into the pocket to form an annular Z-shaped gap in which the glue is distributed. When the glue is solidified the housing and the cover become rigidly and tightly connected to each other. The shape of the gap protects the glue against aggressive fuel.

摘要： A filter assembly having a first stage filter that filters particulates from fluid flowing through the filter and a second stage filter downstream of the first stage filter that coalesces water from the fluid. By providing the first stage filter upstream of the second stage filter, particulate filtration capacity and efficiency may be provided while protecting the second stage filter from particulates. Protecting the second stage filter from particulates allows for the life of the second stage filter to be extended while providing efficient emulsion removal in the filter assembly.
