摘要： The solution provides a method for separating a Chinese traditional medicine composition. To explain a pharmacological effect mechanism of a medicine made of two or more components and scientific content in rules of compatibility among components of a compound medicine, systematic researches on the material basis is very necessary. Accordingly, deep researches are done on chemical components of the pharmaceutical composition in the solution, and eight compounds are separated, which are 10-O-(p-hydroxycinnamoyl)-adoxosidic acid, aloe-emodin-8-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, quercitrin, matairesinol-4′-O-glucoside, liquiritin apioside, epi-vogeloside, vogeloside and ethyl caffeate, which provides a new quality control method for the composition in the solution.

摘要： The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition derived from a natural substance. Since the composition effectively suppresses Filobasidium, an organism that has been newly identified as causing dandruff, the present invention can effectively prevent and/or treat seborrhoeic dermatitis and dandruff. Also, since the antimicrobial composition of the present invention includes a natural substance as an active ingredient, little consumer aversion will result. Also, it is expected that the antimicrobial composition of the present invention can be used for developing an antidandruff agent having a reduced content of materials which are typically used as antidandruff agents and the safety of which is questionable.

摘要： The invention discloses a Semen Cassiae-containing tea bag and preparation method thereof. The Semen Cassiae-containing tea bag comprises Semen Cassiae, chrysanthemum, lotus leaf and folium mori. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) sorting; (2) grinding; (3) sieving; (4) sterilizing: placing a sieved powdery mixture into a material tray, and performing ozone sterilizing for 30 minutes, wherein the material thickness in the material tray does not exceed 5 cm; (5) weighing; (6) mixing and (7) packing. 摘要： The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating respiratory diseases, and more particularly, to a pharmaceutical composition, and to a health food, comprising extracts of herbal mixtures or fermented products thereof having lactic acid bacteria as effective ingredients for preventing or treating respiratory diseases, wherein the herbal mixtures comprise: Sophora flavascens, Radix glycyrrhizae, Flos Lonicerae, Angelicae Gigantis radix, Aralia continentalis, Inula helenium, Saposhnikoviae radix, Zizyphus spinosa, Houttuynia cordata, Forsythiae fructus, Arctium lappa, Herba epimedii, ginseng, Lithospermi radix, Sanguisorbae radix, Cnidii rhizoma, Scrophulariae radix, and Polygoni cuspidati radix. The herbal extracts or fermented products thereof having lactic acid bacteria exhibit the effects of significantly lowering an airway resistance value; reducing the numbers of leukocytes, neutrophilic leukocytes, lymphocytes, eosinocytes, and basophil leukocytes to levels similar to that of a normal group; and reducing the infiltration of inflammatory cells and eosinocyte cells near AHR on lung tissues. Therefore, the herbal extracts or fermented products thereof having lactic acid bacteria may be valuably used for the prevention and/or treatment of respiratory diseases such as asthma.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide processes for preparing thymus extracts and plant or fungal extracts, and more particularly provide compositions (Thyex-1-6A and -6B) produced in accordance with said processes, and methods for treatment of various conditions comprising administration of said compositions including but not limited to cancer. In preferred synergistic aspects, the inventive compositions (Thyex-1-6A and -6B) are administered in combination with a macrophage stimulating agent (e.g., beta glucan) for cancer treatment. Certain aspects relate to treating cancer, comprising: administering of a therapeutically effective amount of a thymus extract composition (Thyex-1-6A and -6B) in combination with administration of an extract of Houttuynia cordata. Further aspects comprise administration to a mammalian subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of an extract of Houttuynia cordata, wherein treating or alleviating nausea is afforded.
