    • The invention constitutes a device for heating a component (3) in a vehicle environment comprising a heating element (2) and means for feeding current (I) through the heating element (2). The invention is characterized in that the heating element (2) is constructed in the form of a heating wire which in turn comprises a number of strands (16) arranged together, of which a predetermined number of strands (16) comprises an individual electrical insulation (17). Using the invention an enhanced device for beating of a vehicle seat is acquired, with which help the risk of the so called nullhot-spotnull problem may be eliminated.

    • In a hair treatment promoting apparatus in which a reflector provided with a heater for radiating infrared rays is rotated by a motor so that the infrared rays are radiated to the top, back and both sides of a head of a subject, the motor is located on an extended line of an ascending/descending rod for supporting the hair treatment promoting apparatus so that the center of gravity of the entire apparatus is located on the line. In this configuration, since the motor which is relatively heavy is located on the axial line of the ascending/descending rod attached to the main pole of the moving stand, the hair treatment promoting apparatus is held in a stable state. Therefore, even if the apparatus is caught by any protrusion on the floor when the apparatus is moved for operation, it does not easily fall down.

    • A device for floor heating comprising a bendable, electrically conductive, thermoplastic mat (1), adapted for division into lengths and mounting of these lengths side by side underneath a floor. The device is provided with at least two electrodes (4) arranged along each side edge (3) of the mat (1) each, to which electrodes (4) a current is connectable. The current is conducted through the device, which heats up and emits heat. The mat (1) comprises a material composition whose volume resistivity increases with the increase of the temperature of the material composition. The electrodes (4) are threadlike and the material composition comprises a semicrystalline polymer, whose crystalline melting point exceeds the normal working temperature of the device but are below 99null C. and whose softening temperature (Vicat) is in the range of 45-70null C., and an electrically conductive filler material. This results in that the device may be driven by mains voltage and that the volume resistivity of the material composition substantially increases already at temperatures below 30null C., whereby the device is self regulating regarding temperature and power in normal working temperatures for floor heating.
