摘要： Apparatus and methods are provided for setting initial PDCP state variables for multicast services. In one novel aspect, the UE sets initial PDCP state variables for the MBS session based on configuration values received from the network. In one embodiment, the UE receives dedicated RRC signaling from the network, which contains initial HFN value and the SN of the next PDCP PDU to be transmitted. In one embodiment, the one or more configuration values are provided in RRC Reconfiguration, RRCResume, or RRCSetup message, according to different RRC states of UE. In one embodiment, the UE initializes the RX_DELIV value based on the configuration value of HFN and SN received from the wireless network. When receiving the one or more configuration values of initial PDCP state variables, UE sets HFN to initial HFN value and sets RX_DELIV to the COUNT value of next PDCP PDU to be transmitted by network.

The method includes: determining a first MBMS to be initiated; determining, according to a mapping relationship, a state instruction corresponding to the first MBMS, and the state instruction is used for instructing a terminal to receive the first MBMS in an RRC connected state or a non-RRC connected state; if the state instruction is used for instructing the terminal to receive the first MBMS in the RRC connected state, the terminal determining whether the terminal is currently in the non-RRC connected state; and if the terminal is currently in the non-RRC connected state, sending an RRC connection establishment request to a network device, and the RRC connection establishment request includes first instruction information, and the first instruction information is used for indicating that the reason for establishing the present connection is to receive an MBMS.

摘要： Systems and methods are described for indicating a range for which HARQ feedback is to be transmitted for sidelink V2X communications. A TX UE receives from a gNB an RRC message with an IE that describes a communication range. The communication range is used by a RX UE when the TX UE transmits a groupcast PSSCH and PSCCH to the RX UE to determine whether or not to send HARQ feedback in response to the TX UE transmission. The RX UE receives the communication range from the gNB or the TX UE signals the communication range in the SCI of the PSCCH. If the TX UE sends a TB in which multiple DRBs with different communication ranges are used for the PDU, the SCI indicates that either the maximum or minimum communication range is to be used.

The method is applied to a DU, comprising: receiving a first notification message transmitted by a CU; transmitting a first message to the CU; transmitting the MBMS notification message to the UE according to the first notification message, wherein the MBMS notification message is used to notify the UE to receive a message transmitted on a MBMS control channel; receiving an MBMS service start request message transmitted by the CU; transmitting a MBMS message to the UE, used for establishing an MBMS bearer and transmitting MBMS data. The method provided in the present application realizes the successful establishment of a MBMS bearer and the effective transmission of MBMS data under a separated architecture.

摘要： Techniques for distributing content to mobile computing devices, such as in the context of a vehicle-based wireless network, are described. In some examples, a collection of vehicle-mounted devices forms a cooperative wireless network to distribute content items throughout the network. The devices in the network automatically and independently vary the transmission rates in order to optimize or at least improve throughput, network connectivity, and/or range. Each device may determine a utilization level of a wireless communication channel. If the utilization level is below a threshold level, the device increases the transmission data rate of its transceiver, thereby decreasing range. If the utilization level is above a threshold level, the device decreases the transmission data rate of its transceiver, thereby increasing range.
