摘要： A display device includes: a panel in which plural pixels that emit lights according to a video signal are sectioned into plural areas; a light reception sensor that is arranged in each of the areas and outputs a light reception signal according to light emission luminance; and signal processing means. The area includes first and second pixel groups including at least one pixel and plural pixels other than the first pixel group, respectively. The signal processing means includes arithmetic means for outputting an arithmetic signal according to arithmetic operation of an offset value and a light reception value; converting means for outputting digital data according to the arithmetic signal; and correcting means for correcting the video signal according to the digital data and supplying the corrected video signal to the first pixel group.

摘要： A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a first horizontal line having a first sequence of colored pixels, and a second horizontal line having a second sequence of colored pixels. The display device also includes a signal controller for detecting a first input video signal and a second input video signal for pixels respectively disposed on a left outermost vertical line and a right outermost vertical line of the display from an input video signal. The signal controller also corrects the first input video signal and the second input video signal so that they have grayscales that are less than a threshold value. The image quality characteristic is improved by removing the color shift phenomenon of the right and left outermost vertical lines in the display device.

摘要： A flat panel display includes scan lines, data lines, and pixels. Each pixel including at least one first subpixel and a second subpixel, the first subpixel and the second subpixel of the pixel are coupled different scan lines but coupled to the same data line. All of the first subpixels of the pixels are scanned in a first display period, and all of the second subpixels of the pixels are scanned in a second display period after all of the first subpixels are scanned. One color of subpixel is scanned at a time in the flat panel display featuring interlaced scanning. Because video data does not change obviously in general, video data of the single one color of subpixel does not obviously change. The data line is not overloaded, neither. In this way, the color cast occurring in the conventional technology does not happen anymore.

The processing unit receives a video signal containing display information which is inputted into a display screen and is to be displayed thereon. The processing unit analyzes the video signal and determines color temperature of the display information, and outputs a first controlling signal to the driving module for synchronously adjusting the color temperature of the light emitted from the light source to be substantially equal to that of the display information displayed on the display screen.
