摘要： A communication event processing method includes obtaining, by a first terminal, a use status of the first terminal and a use status of a second terminal. The method includes determining either the first terminal or the second terminal as a communication event receiving terminal according to at least one of the use status of the first terminal or the use status of the second terminal. The method includes sending, by the first terminal, a communication event transfer start instruction message to a server when the communication event receiving terminal is the second terminal and a communication event receiving terminal determined last time is the first terminal, where the communication event transfer start instruction message is used to instruct the server to forward, to the second terminal, a received communication event to be sent to the first terminal.

摘要： An improved telephone system over a single telephone line within a residence or other building is disclosed, supporting exchange features and enabling easy expansion for multiple external lines. The existing telephone wiring is used as the medium for a local data communication network carrying multiple voice channels. In each outlet, one or more voice channels are converted into a standard telephone-line interface. Life-line functionality is facilitated by using the lower band of the spectrum isolated from the data communication network, and a dedicated connector in the outlet provides access to this band. External telephone feeders are converted to digital form for interfacing to the in-home data communication network.

摘要： A wireless communication apparatus is provided with a fax (facsimile machine) with a telephone function accommodating a public line, and a slave apparatus (cordless handset) capable of wireless communication with the fax, wherein the fax has a function of synthesizing a speech from character data and outputting a speech signal. The fax executes a speech synthesis of the character data based on the character data transmitted from the slave apparatus to the fax and the slave apparatus outputs a speech based on a speech signal transmitted from the fax. As above-mentioned, the present invention enables a read-out of character data stored in a slave apparatus without loading the slave apparatus with a speech synthesizing function, and a program therefor.

The phone system may include a microcontroller that communicates along the phone lines at a non-utilized frequency to several extension phones in a residence. The microcontroller permits each phone to control call features such as call waiting, conference calling, paging, or other features. A control box may be included at any or all of the extension phones to provide a convenient user interface to access the call features.

Systems according to the present invention include Network Control Units which form the center of a star topology and which communicate via RF link with Wireless Access Units and handsets. Wireless Access Units feature an interface, such as, for example, a standard telephone jack, for accommodating a telephone, a fax machine, a compute modem or other device. Computers or other devices may also be accommodated by Wireless Access Units having other physical and virtual interfaces, including, for instance, serial ports or network interfaces. The Wireless Access Units may also be digital to accommodate ISDN or any other digital standard. Wireless control/monitoring accessories may also be employed to communicate with the Network Control Unit and provide additional functionality such as entrance monitoring, baby monitoring, HVAC control and other services.

摘要： A small and economically fabricated CMOS voltage controlled crystal oscillator is provided by coupling three inverter amplifiers in series with a regenerative crystal controlled feedback loop. The first and second CMOS inverters have output nodes whose impedances are modified by a CMOS impedance modulating circuit. Also coupled to each of these two output nodes is a CMOS transistor shunt capacitor. The impedance of the output node is modified according to the magnitude of a voltage control signal applied to the CMOS modulating circuits. The self-bias of the modulating circuits is maintained substantially constant by adjusting the gate drive in each of the modulating circuits according to gate drives derived from a dummy modulating circuit. The dummy modulating circuit has as one input the voltage control signal and as its compensating gate drive, a control signal derived from a feedback loop from a dummy output node in such a manner that the self-bias of the dummy modulating circuit is maintained substantially constant. The compensating gate drive from the dummy modulating circuit is then coupled to the appropriate compensating gates within the impedance modulating circuits in the voltage controlled oscillator.
