摘要： Braking a power tool motor based on a phase voltage of the motor. The power tool includes a motor and a power source providing operating power to the motor. A power switching network is between the power source and the motor to drive the motor. An actuator is operable to provide an input. An electronic controller is connected to the actuator and the power switching network. The electronic controller is configured to receive an indication related to initiating braking of the motor, control the power switching network to allow the motor to coast, monitor a phase voltage of the motor, determine whether the phase voltage of the motor is equal to or less than a phase voltage threshold, and control, in response to the phase voltage of the motor being equal to or less than the phase voltage threshold, the power switching network to brake the motor.

摘要： A drive system for a BLDC motor having poles implemented by separate coils that are activated in corresponding phases, which comprises a controller for controlling the level and phase of input voltages supplied to the separate coils; a controlled inverter with outputs, for applying phase-separated input voltages to each of the separate coils at desired timing for each input voltage, determined by the controller; a power source for feeding power to the controlled inverter; an up/down DC-DC converter for converting the feeding power to the input voltages according to a command signal provided by the controller. The controller is adapted to sample the instantaneous angle of the rotor of the BLDC motor; sample the input voltage input voltage and the current of each phase to obtain the input power P; and for each input voltage, calculate the phase difference value that corresponds to the input power and feeds the phase difference value to the up/down DC-DC converter, thereby causing the up/down DC-DC converter to apply each input voltage to its corresponding coil at a specific timing for obtaining an optimal match between each input voltage and the current that is being built up in the corresponding coil.

摘要： A shift range control device switches a shift range by controlling drive of a motor. An angle calculation unit calculates a motor angle based on a signal from a rotation angle sensor that detects a rotation position of the motor. A drive control unit drives the motor so that the motor angle becomes a target angle according to the target shift range, and stops a rotor by a fixed phase energization, when the motor angle reaches a target angle. When the rotor vibrates with respect to stop position, the drive control unit maintains a state in which a brake torque, which is the torque generated when moving away from center of vibration, is larger than an acceleration torque, which is the torque generated when moving toward the center of vibration, and reduces the current that energizes the motor based on a difference between the brake torque and the acceleration torque.

In addition, the linear vibration generating device can be easily manufactured since an additional space inside the linear vibration generating device is not required, and there is an outstanding effect of promptly removing residual vibration by increasing the amount of vibration damping after the vibration operation of the vibration generating device including a permanent magnet is finished.

The PESD powers a traction motor of a vehicle via a propulsion circuit. The AESD is a different type of electrical storage device than the PESD and powers the traction motor via an ancillary circuit. The first switching device is electrically connected to the propulsion circuit, and the second switching device is electrically connected to the ancillary circuit. The controller switches or maintains the second switching device in a closed, conducting state during an elevated demand period for the AESD to power to the traction motor. The controller switches the second switching device to an open, non-conducting state prior to switching the first switching device to the closed state for the PESD to power the traction motor.
