摘要： A method and apparatus for tuning the torsional natural frequency of a rotor is disclosed. At least one tuning slot is formed within the winding slots defined by radially projecting winding teeth. The tuning slot extends radially inward from the bottom of the winding slot a distance to tune the rotor to a desired torsional natural frequency. This tuning slot can be positioned preferably at the quadrature axis.

摘要： A power tool has a motor housing that comprises housing halves arranged in the circumferential direction of a motor. A brush holder is disposed within the motor housing and serves to support brushes. The brush holder comprises holder halves that are arranged in the circumferential direction of the motor. In order to assemble the brush holder into the housing, one of the holder halves is set onto one of the housing halves. Thereafter, the rotor and the stator are set onto the one of the housing halves. Then, the other holder half is set onto the one of the holder halves and is joined thereto so as to form the brush holder. Finally, the other housing half is set onto the one of the housing halves and are joined thereto so as to form the motor housing.

摘要： A disk player having a self-compensating dynamic balancer which can limit internal vibrations generated by an eccentric center of gravity of a disk, and a turntable, a clamper and a spindle motor which incorporate a self-compensating dynamic balancer. The self-compensating dynamic balancer is formed integrally with rotating members in a disk player; that is, a turntable, a clamper and/or a rotor of a spindle motor. The self-compensating dynamic balancer includes at least one race which is integrally formed with the rotating member and rotates around a rotational shaft, a mobile unit which is located in the race to be capable of moving, and a cover member for covering an opening of the race. Thus, internal vibrations occurring due to the eccentric center of gravity of the disk can be effectively limited by the self-compensating dynamic balancer in which the mobile unit is disposed far away from the center of orbital rotation by a centrifugal force during rotation thereof.

Pivot pins are installed in the supporting plate and two or more pendulums are arranged around the supporting plate. The pivot pins and pendulums are linked by connectors, such that upon rotation of the shaft, the connectors are elastically transformed and a centroid of the pendulums faces a centroid of the disk, centered around the rotating shaft of the spindle motor, due to a centrifugal force.

摘要： A method for controlling an auto-balancing system of an optic disk in an optic disk drive is proposed. As the rotary speed of a spindle motor is not faster than a critical speed, a dither signal of high frequency and micro amplitude is added to a command signal for speeding a maximum rotary speed for reducing friction force, and then the balancing mass successfully moves to a position with a reverse phase opposite to an unbalance vector of the optic disk. After the rotary speed of the spindle motor is higher than a critical speed, the dither signal and then speeding the spindle motor is removed and the motor is accelerated to a maximum rotary speed.
